I don't get it. Is Mags already peeling off Stark's armour? That's a little bit anti-climatic, isn't it?

    Peace

This is kind of like the Psylocke/Widow fight. It seems like these fights are going to be terribly one-sided, unless the disadvantaged half has some sort of technological trump card to prevent the obvious inevitable... whether it be something to block magnetism or mental powers.

Iron Man is going to bull**** up some Mageneto buster armor and win. Just watch him do it.

Also, I'm still confused how these fights will happen and won't affect the main story. Do they just get back up again, no battle damage and continue in the main book?

He already did it. We've seen that he has rubber armor (WTF?!).

i think these fights are done in the main series, but probably only take place in a couple of panels or pages. this series just goes in depth with the fighting. so if somebody gets KO'd or whatever in the main series, this series probably shows how they get messed up.

    ...i guess.

He could be putting his armour on.

Yeah but didn't Magneto already show him wasted his time making that in Magneto Not a Hero?

This should be even worse than what Magneto did to Wolverine. Wolverine's bones were coated with adamantium. Stark's nanobots that form his armour are housed in his bones. Magneto pulls hard enough, Stark should basically explode into a cloud of blood and gold dust.

Well, after the really embarrassing "Invincible Rubber Man" incident, Stark better do something.

I now have the image of Stark in a gimp suit. Thanks for nothing.

Honestly, plastic armor or no, Magneto's ability to short out everything with an electromagnetic field means that, if there's any justice, this will be the shortest battle since Captain Continence met Explosive Diarrhea Man.

Seriously, the best Avenger to fight Magneto, at this point, would have to be Iron Fist...whose fist is not really made of Iron...in the middle of the Mojave. And he would have about two minutes to nut-punch Magneto into unconsciousness before Magneto could pull a 747 from Pheonix and force it up his butt.

No it's a teaser. And, as teasers go, the outcome shouldn't be suggested. Hence, anti-climatic.

    Peace
