That trailer is awesome. As is Patrick McQuade's comic style Skyfall poster, check it out here:

Roger Deakins you are a god amongst men. The cinematography is stunning.

i watched Quantum of Solace the other week.
what was the bad guy's evil plan?
i couldn't figure it out.
Yeah QOS was a huge letdown (except for Giancarlo Giannini as Mathis -- I really like his character for some reason). But Casino Royale is one of the best Bond flicks in decades, and damn if Eva Green isn't one of the sexiest Bond girls ever.
Really looking forward to Skyfall and Craig's burned out, pissed off Bond. (At least that's the vibe I get from the trailer.)

Very cool. The way he adjusts his cuff at the end is just perfect Bond.
so stoked for this!
I really hope this movie finds the proper balance between the verisimilitude and the style. While the classic Bond films in today's context are outdated and borderline cartoony, the new Bond seemed to be stripped of style, wit, gadgets, etc. He's too much like Bourne. I'd actually like to see Christopher Nolan take a crack at a Bond film whenever the apropriate time is. He seems to have nailed that balance in the Batman trilogy, and he takes a lot of style influence from Bond in his own movies.
This looks stylish enough i think. Deakins' cinematography is ridiculously good. And just with that bit at the very end, where chaos is erupting around him, yet he just cooly adjusts his cuff, shows it's keeping that Bond slickness.
This looks perfectly stylish, really. Seems to have the strongest visuals of the new series, so far. Anyway, again, super excited for this.
Bond: You know the difference between me and you?
Bourne: ...what...?
Bond: I make this look good.
