He's got a multi film contract doesn't he? Like, five or something?
Glad I could stop that trend, heh.
Well Michael G.Wilson stated he wants Craig to do 8 more Bond films, so that's pretty telling. I think Craig originally signed on for 4.I think the perfermance in the next film will determine whether he stays or goes.

I own several of the Sideshow Collectibles Bond dolls....er...1:6 Figures. And I am a grown man. Those things are awesome. And Oddjob too!
Oddjob FTW!

More speculation, but would be pretty cool pick should Craig turn in his license.

Idris Elba wouldn't turn it down. This guy is so cool. Not sure if his age is right if the time came but I would definitely be good with Elba as Bond in the future. Craig is the man but should he move on, there are several awesome candidates out there to fill his shoes.
Clive Owen or Fassbender would be my top picks. I still like Craig though. He was great in Casino Royale. I actually think he should have got some award recognition for that performance.
QoS just wasn't a very good Bond movie. Although that scene at the Opera was amazing.
Things got kind of shaky for a while after QOS it seems. There are rumors that Skyfall has a lower budget due to MGM's issues a few years back, which nearly derailed the film.
Part of the problem I had with QOS is that the action scenes were badly edited and you couldn't really tell what was going on...that and the weird choices like fancy location titles, weird homages to past Bonds (Such as the girl covered in oil, a reference to Goldfinger) and putting the gunbarrel at the end of the film.

I agree, the shaky cam and hyper editing really made it near impossible to make out what was going on. That opening scene with the car chase wrecked quite a few Aston martin's, apparently, and they cut it down to a minute or two action sequence.
It was supposed to be an awesome chase too.
Elba is a talent for sure. If he doesn't end up being Bond then he'd be great as an ally or even as a villain.
QoS had a lot of problems because it was in the middle of the writer's strike. That's why it felt rushed and is now the shortest Bond movie. Craig even pitched in on a few scenes to help out, that's how much he knew the trouble they were in.

I liked the location titles and the girl drowned in oil.
having seen it twice, those are two of the things I actually remember from it.
Fields drowned in oil was a cool nod to Goldfinger.
