Greetings everyone, any Bond fans here at CBR? This is a thread dedicated to anything James Bond. Discussion for the latest film Skyfall can also take place here.

Director Sam Mendes takes on the 23rd entry in the Bond franchise, which is filming as we speak. Titled Skyfall, the film has a star-studded cast...Daniel Craig and Dame Judi Dench return to their respected roles as James Bond and M, Javier Bardem is going to be the villain, Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe will be the Bond girls and Ralph Fiennes and Albert Finney were cast for roles not yet specified.

Also we'll be seeing the return of Q as Ben Whishaw was cast in the role, this will be the first time Q is younger than Bond.

Locations include:

London, Turkey, China and there could be another one I'm forgetting at the moment lol.

What we know about the plot so far:

Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

I like Craig as Bond a lot but dam, that second pic makes him look like Grandpa Bond.

Absolutely huge 007 Fan here. Can not wait for next film. Super excited that Bardem is in it (and Fiennes) as he.'s a favorite actor of mine as well. I was a little concerned with Mendes but feel more at ease now with this superb cast and a real energy behind the new Bond.

When I was about 10 I was so fascinated with Bond that I asked for a tux and video camera for Xmas so I can make my own Bond films. Hell, I still want that although my Connery accent is a little rusty.

I myself am a Bond fanatic too, have to thank my father for introducing me to Bond when I was younger. I've lost track of how many times i've seen all the movies.

I've been really pleased with the Craig era, Casino Royale was an excellent movie and while QoS wasn't as good, I still enjoyed it for what it was. Part of the problems QoS had was cause of the writer's strike, that's why it was short and felt rushed.

With more time on Skyfall I think we're in for a treat, plus it's coming out on the 50th anniversary of Bond.

I love the Craig Bond films.

QoS isn't that bad, especially if you do a double feature.
They really compliment each other quite well, I thought.
The villains were kinda lame, but other than that I liked it.

Very much looking forward to this.

Greene had potential but it was never met, very much looking forward to more info on Bardem's role.

Bond, Bogart, Batman, Beatles and Bowie. So many idols starting with the magical letter "B"

I too rate Casino among the best of the 007 Films. My top three would be Goldfinger, Dr. No and CR. Craig has been incredibly refreshing as the modern Bond. I would totally back Fassbender when the time comes but for now, Daniel is doing a fantastic job.

Fassbender has been one of my choices for the next Bond too, his roles in Inglorious Bastards and First Class had me sold.

Craig quickly won me over as my favorite Bond, which was an impressive thing to do given how much I liked Brosnan.

He's almost a little too obvious at this point. Sort of like Clive Owen.

Would love Fassbender to do a Graham Greene or John LeCarre style spy movie.
