I hope the "story" for each of these is just really awesome artwork depicting the fight but with narration done in the style of an online versus debate.
"Lolz. No way could Gambit beat Black Widow. Natasja rules!"
This could either be interestng or oblivious given which title will fall under the Versus category.
Intriguing Idea.
Black History Month & 29 Days in February
good job making cyclops look like a psycho on that promo image. marvel isn't biased in this battle at all.

steve rogers is draped in the american flag regalia. he'd have to have a dead puppy hanging from his neck to look sinister no matter what face he's making.
So, who are the villains in this one?
I just hope they get creative with the match-ups. I don't want everyone to be taking on the most obvious opponent. I'd rather see fights we haven't seen before.
So the actual ass kicking will be in this book?
What is going to be in the other books then?
AVX: The Mic Promos?
I'm picturing 20 pages of Captain America and Cyke flexing and ranting into a mic about crippling somebody.
I would actually buy something like that.
The first bout is Magneto versus Iron Man by Jason Aaron and Adam Kubert, while the second will feature Namor versus Thing by Katherine and Stuart Immonen. Both will be contained in Issue #1.

"...there's not going to be enough space to do justice to all those conflicts in the main book."
...and as before, these tie-ins will still be lacking...tsk,tsk...wot is there to show that cannot be shown in any of the main titles? When did cross-overs need a slew of tie-in issues to tell the story?
Sun and Moon
Wood nailed her. Like only good Wood could.
