    Default Witchblade timeline question

    Witchblade issues #140-150 does it take place before Artifacts, after Artifacts ,or another universe?
    Now, once more, I must ride with my knights to defend what was, and the dream of what could be.

    Yes, yes...I've been having the same questions.

    I'm still waiting to get the last two Witchblade Remdemption trades and the final Artifacts trade, but I'm not sure the proper reading order.

    The trade says Witchblade #139 takes place after Artifacts volume 1 (which covers #1-4)....but then I'm seeing reports that Witchblade #151 picks up directly on Artifacts #13.

    And what I've read of Artifacts so far doesn't seem like it breaks for 11 issues of Witchblade.

    They don't fit neatly together because some events in Witchblade take place at the exact same time as some events in Artifacts, but between panels. Given the tight structure of Artifacts, though, Witchblade #150 could not have happened any later than halfway through Artifacts #8.
    Always remember this stuff isn't real.
