Jennifer married to John Jamison, JJJ's son. JJJ's father is married to Peter's Aunt. Therefore, Col. John Jamison is Peter's step 2nd cousin. The only way that John would be Peter's step nephew is if Mary Jane's sister married to J. Jonah Jamison and had a child who married to Jennifer Walters.

Too bad Shulkie and John Jameson's marriage was annulled, coz if it stuck she'd still be Jonah's daughter-in-law, and Jonah as the stepson of May is the step-cousin by marriage of Peter, so that makes her the, what, step-first-cousin once removed by marriage of Peter. Whew!

Fun fact: Mimi has taken his jokes before and snarked them right back at him!! The joke about her mom was a little below the belt, but he truly didn't know the real story with that.

Context: the Leader is arguing that gamma radiation poisoning makes people not responsible for their actions, which is the logic used to excuse Dr Banner for the Hulk's frequent rampages, so legally his megalomaniac tendencies aren't his fault either. As more evidence of this, he has his lawyer bring up a full list of the people Jennifer slept with as She-Hulk versus ones as herself to be entered as evidence of how gamma radiation effects her judgement, or something.

Legal explanation or not, it still seems to be as about as liable in court as that time in Veronica Mars where a defence lawyer uses Mars' confidential medical records to damage her statement.

Except you keeping neglecting two things; first is that Jenn loves her She-Hulk form. She has no in-character reason to go on dates in her Jenn form because she prefers the She-Hulk form. Secondly, it is no secret that she is She-Hulk. Even if she went as Jenn, all her rogue's gallery would still regonise her, and therefore go after Peter, increasing the risk of his secret idenitity getting out.

So no, Peter x Jennifer could never happen for a lot of reasons. Spider-Man x She-Hulk would be the more probable response.

As I said before, the relationship between Jenn and Peter can happen in the background. And I mentioned that it would fall in the Betty Brant category, meaning they HANG out once a month. And to insure that the date is private, Jenn stays in her human form for a day. Thus, the hanging out could be handled in the same manner as Betty Brant.

Well after the events of One More Day I Would say anything is possible... I mean I would never thought of seeing Spider-man make A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL IN COMICS BEFORE.

Still, I would say no, given that they're too mis-match and it wouldn't work out well for either of them.

And this could be a way for Dan Slott to bring back his version of the She-Hulk once again as part of the Spidey and Daredevil supporting cast as a lawyer who gets her license re-instated.

The thing is, Betty is Peter's oldest friend (she's the only person who's nice to him when we first meet him), and his first love interest. Plus, they've helped each other go through their share of tragedies. If Slott brought Jen into ASM tomorrow, it would take a long time before they could develop that kind of friendship.

I'd rather see Jen Walters/Matt Murdock--at least they have the obvious things in common, and have more of a reason to know each other outside of costume.
