Default Jennifer Walters x Peter Parker: Could it work?

I like their team-up. However, I was wondering if it would be possible to see the humanside of Jennifer Walters dating Peter Parker? In her human form, Jenn is somewhat similar to Betty Brant; except that she LOVES being the She-Hulk more than her regular appearance. I sometimes wonder if there is any way for Dan Slott to incorporate the human version of Jenn into Peter's circle of friends in the same manner as Betty Brant? The human side to Jenn is rarely seen, and when we do see it she is in some ways like Peter Parker. A friendship between them could work. But what's your take in a possible friendship between the human Jennifer Walters(not the She-Hulk) and Peter Parker?

It's complicated; Spidey's interacted with both of her personas, but she only knows Peter as Spider-Man. I suppose a start would be a story where her annulled marriage to John Jameson is brought up (which would be very awkward) and then take it from there. There would have to be a good reason for She-Hulk to go around as Jen for any length of time (but then Spidey might provide the impetus).

I'm still waiting for Slott to team them up again *cough* foreshadowing (Peter to Carlie: "Now do your She-Hulk.") *cough*.

I could see them go on a date. Couldn't see anything long term happening but I could see them dating for a bit.

The tough thing I suppose is that there's no reason for Jennifer to actually be in human form.

She doesn't have a secret identity or anything, and she obviusly prefers being She-Hulk. Unlike Hulk, it's not like they have 2 entirely seperate personalities (though I do think as Jen she's a bit less out-going).

There would have to be some sort of context where he'd date a human Jen rather than She-Hulk, because frankly I think they'd both prefer it if she were She-Hulk.

I see no reason for it to be a relationship if *only human* Jen. I think Spider-Man and She-Hulk have just as much a chance of being together as Jennifer and Peter, but if they did form a relationship, it would be nice to see the human side of Jen a little more.

I don't see any chemistry there. Yeah, Jen is easy-going and has a sense of humor. But Parker comes across as a guy who is always telling jokes because he is insecure and even neurotic. That doesn't go over well with a confident and independent woman like Jen. Also, she is too tall for him and that would probably bother Peter.

I think they are better off as just friends. I can see Jen being in her human form for extended periods just so she can have some time to herself away from the autographs seekers and paparazzi.

BTW, what issue is this panel from?

There was some comic where Spider-Man and She-Hulk were both sitting on a plane and Spidey is having is usual banter. She-Hulk complains about how he never shuts up. Spider-Man then says something like how She-Hulk from the other universe was his wife and never minded him talking so much. She-Hulk asks if that's true and he responds, "Shutting up."

I like that Spectacular Spider-man issue where he knocks the crap out of She-Hulk and then reforms the Outlaws and goes on a wild campaign against the Avengers.

Tired of their hypocrisy he forms a team to do what the Revengers should have done - albeit he's being manipulated by a villian (I forgot who 0 but he's a classic)...

Like Ms. Marvel, if Jen gets to know the REAL side to Peter Parker, she might come to appreciate him. Like Peter, Jen uses her She-Hulk persona to express herself without getting knocked down. Thus, Jennifer uses the She-Hulk as a mask as Peter uses Spider-Man to convey his persona as well.

I feel that Jen could learn to accept her human side with greater confidence as she does in She-Hulk form. She uses her She-Hulk for to express herself confidently where as in her regular form Jen is a bit timid to exert that confidence. As the She-Hulk, Jen simply wearing a mask like Peter in his Spidey costume.
