I get misty eyed when I remember being 10 and marching up to 7-11 to grab a hotdog and a Simpsons comic. God how I'd love to get that stuff in a nice collection, especially Radioactive Man.

Can't wait to see the one-shot wonders starring Ralph Wiggum and Simpsons Illustrated #1.

I really wish they would go and actually fill out the Radioactive Man mini. There's alot of comics to cover.

I have the book. I only know the Simpsons but it was an amazing read. I love Bongo. I wish they go digital.

Up and atom! Bart Simpson's favorite comic hero, Radioactive Man, is here to save the day for superhero fans both old and new! Ever since his historic comic book debut in 1952 (in The Simpsons universe). Radioactive Man (otherwise known as layabout playboy Claude Kane III) and his faithful sidekick Fallout Boy (aka former juvenile delinquent Rod Runtledge) have been making Zenith City safe from insidious evil-doers such as Dr. Crab, Magmo the Lava Man, Hypno-Head, Larva Girl, Larceny Lass, and Richard Milhous Nixon, to name but a few. For decades, fans have clamored for a deluxe collection of Radioactive Man tales. Now, at last, the Atomic Avenger receives the treatment he deserves in this comprehensive and historic archival edition of his greatest adventures!

So what exactly is Simpsons Illustrated? And are the current comics worth picking up every month?

According to this it's a new quarterly title. I think it's new stories along with reprints of older stories.

I'm really interested in reading Bongo's offerings. I have fond memories of the few Simpsons comics I've read in the past. Like Hwlights asked, are the current comics worth picking up? I might pick up Simpsons Comics or Bart Comics on my next trip to my LCS.

I've started throwing an issue of Simpsons in with my online orders, so I have something to give my niece when she visits. I never read them myself though, so I can't comment on them content-wise.

When I was a kid in the 90s I loved Simspons and the EC reprints more than anything else out at the time.

    Just three weeks more.
