After going and looking at a screencap of the scene and realising exactly what it refers to... I'm kind of ok with that. I will however be eager to see your reaction to it, given your... troubled relationship with Whedon at his most Whedon.

Yes. That was easily the cheesiest worst part of that movie, aside from most of the dialog. I also could have done without the blackmail plot, the rush job on Two-Face, and the dumb echo cell phone thing, to name a few.

I like Batman Begins more than TDK.

I do to. The pacing is a bit worse and fight scenes are crap (not the Nolan was much better in TDK), but overall I think it was a better movie.

Oh dear. I'm all for people taking what they will from comics, but I die a little inside when I see people wilfully take things so wrong, and then tell others.
