I watched the series a good number of times before they were released, so I already had an inexplicable soft spot for Asuka, but the extra scenes in the prime versions of eps. 21-24 put forth a good amount of effort to make her and her character arc the anti-Shinji (which she already was before, as End of Evangelion makes abundantly clear).
O e of the discs was platinum, and we noticed it had duplicate eps, but have not watched it yet

It's Marvel's new digital integration BS. If you have some app it supposed to unlock something or other. I don't know exactly. Don't care really.

bebop-I have a thing that i need to send you, but I cannot figure out how to send it flat, so I have to roll it, unless that is offensive to you in which case I'll try and drop it off in October if we go to NYCC.

I think it could be something cool, but the execution is rather bad at this point. Imagine if a character referenced Bendis' Secret War and instead of editor's note there was a box, one less distracting than they have now, that if scanned it brought up a summery of Secret War, some art, an maybe even links to buy it. Or have it as a way to get info and history on any character on the recap/credits page. That'd be more helpful. But right now it just looks like they add that AR box to random pages.
