They've already apparently delivered a new sound mix for the prologue to theaters that are showing it, so it would seem that they'll work to make the final cut intelligible as well.

The ding scene on its own/in a vacuum was cool, but it directly gave us the half-faced Gus scene and subsequent Gus death, which are both negatives...also, it's nitpicky and whatnot, but I feel like Gus or grumpy, non communicative black guy should've seen the damn bomb on the chair.

I think a funny faced old Mexican in a wheelchair who doesn't look you in the eye and rings a bell to communicate is enough to keep anyone from looking at the bomb. And I like the half-faced Gus scene. And as bummed as I him to see him go, I'm willing to give the show the benefit of the doubt on this one. I think they've earned it.
