Wow all this time I assumed Finch was still writing Dark Knight solo. How is Paul Jenkins doing on the book?

No mention of Tim Drake at all... I am really beginning to suspect that the new 52 has changed Tim's history dramatically.

He's not featured in any Bat books, which this interview was about...

Would have loved to have had a definitive question & answer in there about whether or not the Batman Inc. story going forward is going to be transposed into the new 52 world or finish out in the old universe like Leviathan Strikes did.. I'm inferring from his comments it will be the former... but have we gotten a clear answer on that yet?

Tim, Cass and Steph don't seem to be part of the bat family anymore.

From what I understand, Finch and Jenkins collaborate on the plot and Jenkins is doing the actual script. If you mean how is the book quality wise...it's interesting. It's definitely a lot more insane/over-the-top. I can't say it's as good as Snyder's Batman, but it's still entertaining.

And apparently with issue 8, its all Jenkins on the script, while Finch still has input as to where the story goes.

He's in Teen Titans, not any bat books. Marts doesn't edit Teen Titans, so there you go.

Three years of Batwoman stories from JHW and Blackman, that sounds awesome.
    I'm totally in!
Also i hope the crossovers/guests help Batwing to pick some more readers.

    Some things I noticed:

When talking about Morrison's involvement with the line, he said "when Grant returns to doing work with us." This sounds weird since it sounded like they're already pretty deep into having Leviathan done. Does this mean he has some more ideas going? If that's the case...I'll never complain about more Morrison's Batman, but he basically has had more farewell tours on this universe than Cher.

Also, with Snyder's stuff, he mentioned "the Court of Owls and the Talons." Talons, as in plural. I think that's more evidence to Fhiz's thing about one of the Rocafort designs we saw yesterday being one of the Court of Owls that will be in Red Hood, and possibly the Cleaners we're seeing in BOP.

Will Marts be editing the Batman Incorporated / Batman: Leviathan book when it finally comes out, or will that fall under someone else? (I didn't take the time to read the article in case it's mentioned in there.)

Haha, I didn't even think of that. But what I took it to mean is that there were probably more Talons prior to the one we see now. The Court stretches back far, hundreds of years, "Talon" may be a mantle for their enforcer, so to speak.

Tim's history as Robin is still intact. There are references to it in Teen Titans. Also I believe he's actually in Batman #1.

Wish there were some questions about Cassandra and Stephanie though. All we ever get about them these days is some vague "wait for Batman Inc." comments. I'd love to see a Black Bat and the Spoiler team-up book. I don't really mind that either of them aren't "Batgirl" anymore, I just want to see them in print again. Seeing Stephanie Brown in Leviathan Strikes! written so perfectly by Morrison was a real treat.

That said, I'm still really enjoying the Batman line of books.

The interview literally just went down the line of the list of Batman books in the new 52. Nothing more, nothing less, so I don't get the reaction that Tim or Cass or Steph weren't mentioned.
