I think Pandora may be Pariah's sister.

Oh Barry, why'd you have to open Pandora's box?

There's a DC character called Pandora Pann, created by Len Wein. Just putting this out there. In all likeliness, the 2 characters are unrelated.

What does a Mythological Greek figure have to do with "mid-90s Extreme"?

yeah, I thought that too. This is like when it was cool to call every band "emo" even if it didn't make sense. Everything is 90s in comics now!

I would still like to know what the point was behind the super-powered woman from Flashpoint who helped out Booster Gold during his last few Flashpoint-riddled issues.

I was under the impression she would be this Pandora person.

Pandora, also known as the plot device which will be the driving force for our next linewide retooling which will likely be used as a backdoor to bringing DC back in line to pre-Flashpoint continuity while selectively keeping the little bits that are well liked (Barbara Gordon walking again, for example).

The South American woman? I just thought she was a new character like The Outsider or Element Woman that Jurgens was going to put in JLI and then decided not to.

That was a bit quick. Though this isn't really the reveal that everyone thought of when they read the thread title I think.
