Which, would be really friggin' cowardly. And probably not the kind of guy who would inspire the young players the Bucs have. But whatever, right? Get LeGarrette Blount his old coach back!

Kelly appears to not be going anywhere.

Thankfully...because I think that might have been the one job that would have lured Chris Petersen away.

Jim Irsay and Peyton Manning put out a joint press release that seems to indicate the animosity building between the two has calmed a bit, and cooler heads are prevailing.

Craig Pagano has taken up the coaching vacancy in Indianapolis.

Greg Schiano, formerly now of Rutgers University, has filled the coaching vacuum in Tampa Bay.

Brad Childress has been hired as the new OC in Cleveland.

Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen has been signed as the new head coach in Oakland (hopefully he'll last longer than his predecessors, who have averaged less than 2 year tenures since Tom Flores was fired).

The Miami Dolphins have hired former Green Bay OC Joe Philbin to be their new head coach.

Its Chuck Pagano but I wouldnt become to familiar with the name cause Indy is in the rebuilding process I think.

Schiano was a good defensive college coach I dont think being a head coach in the NFL is for him.

Childress is a good hire but can anyone win in Cleveland?

Oakland is a mess and doesnt know what they want.

Philbin could be the best hire of the off season especially if Flynn ends up going with him.

I don't think Childress is an upgrade in Cleveland - more like a lateral move if anything

Liking the Miami hire - still concerned since Ireland ruled out Zimmerman for being 'too blunt and honest'

Means Ireland wants a puppet - which is never a good thing for a franchise

at least Jerry Jones is more subtle about wanting a puppet as a head coach

The biggest complaint the media had was that first-year head coach Pat Shurmur should have hired an offensive coordinator to call the plays. So...they hired an OC who coached for a team where the head coach called the plays.

    *sigh*

In other Browns news, all is apparently forgiven between the team and Peyton Hillis. The team is said to be looking to re-sign Hillis, for the right price. (Read: cheap.)

They would be wise to let him go I think. It's not as if the franchise cannot live without Hillis.

New England Patriot and former KC Chief all-pro Brian Waters is happy to be in a Super Bowl plus happy his former friends are up for the Hall of Fame. Both Willie Roaf (tackle) and Will Shields (guard) are up for it.

    http://espn.go.com/blog/afcwest/post...a-special-week

Back in the early 2000's KC's OL was considered one of the best lines in football with Shields , Wiegmann , Roaf and Waters .

I think he's OC in CLE, not HC.
