A lot of chaos coming out of the Jets. They let go of OC Brian Schottenheimer, have replaced him with Tony Sparano, and within the locker room, a lot of folks seem to be speaking ill of QB Mark Sanchez to the media, with many hoping the GM's office can do something to land Peyton Manning, since the Colts will be drafting Andrew Luck.

I dunno about that. I'm not sure Peyton's professionalism clicks with Rex Ryan's bravado, personally.

Especially for fans. You'd get Brady vs. Manning 2X a year. Three, if they met in the playoffs.

Well, Jets/Patriots would. Not so much on Colts/Patriots. That would practically be a memory, and rather than play each year as first place division teams within the AFC, they'll probably see each other once every three.

I'm not quite sure what the Vikes are doing. Dunbar, the defensive line coach left. And it looks like we're interviewing for defensive coordinators, but haven't fired our DC yet.

We did the same thing last year with Bevell which I think is very unprofessional (although I was happy to get rid of Bevell).

Jets are going to be a mess for a little while. I dont want Manning give Sanchez two more years. It took Eli some time. Im not sure Sparano is the answer though.

If Rob Lowe is right about the Colts getting rid of Manning, I won't be surprised by the fact that they're letting him go/he's retiring. I'm more surprised by the fact that Rob Lowe is the one who let it out.

Archie Manning said Peyton is playing. How would Rob Lowe have inside info? Thats so random. Is Rob Lowe now going to be an insider.

How many other teams would be willing to take Peyton? PLENTY. The only thing it could be would be that he's too loyal to the Colts organization, and wouldn't want to walk.

And he's been rehabbing so much... I don't know why he'd do a 180 and want to retire so suddenly.

The rumors and this story are going to keep flying until the two or three days where the Colts call season ticket holders to renew. It's a few days before the deadline of where they have to pay Peyton for the season (something like $28 million). They can cut him right in between those two time frames at no extra cost.

I think the Redskins will get him Snyder will have an open checkbook and tell Manning to name his price.

Sparano doesn't like to pass a whole heck of a lot so he actually might work with the Jets. Get a good def and a solid run game and limit your Sanchez brain farts....might be just what the doctor ordered as long as Sanchez is their QB.

Sanchez wins in the 4th quarter. Its when he kicks on most of the games they play.

Its more or less...Sparano has never been an offensive cooridinator so its likely to fail really. He only called few plays in Dallas one year. Also the fact he never developed Chad Henne at all.

Sanchez won't be helped much at all. They should have made a play for Fassel or someone who has worked with QB's before. Instead they go get a guy who has less experience than the guy playing QB .

They might be calling a spade a spade at this point and realizing Sanchez is what he is. He's not going to develop much more so they are going with a guy whose offensive mindset is of the KISS variety. That way they aren't depending on Sanchez like they tried to do this year and they put the onus back on the run game and defense.
