    Wow. The year Hellboy died and he didn't even make the list. It was a really strong year for that comic.

    I've spent my whole life liking things that aren't mainstream. But something as well crafted as Hellboy getting passed over makes me scratch my head. Mike Mignola wrapped up a story that has taken over a decade to tell and Duncan Fegredo's art was so perfect for the epic events told in that comic.
    Recent Nature Sightings:
    Sept 24: Two Orcas close to shore.
    Nov 14: Trumpeter Swans, Bald Eagles catching salmon (and a duck!), Harbour Seals, Steller Sea Lions, Kingfisher.

    Yes, I felt like this was Hellboy's strongest year to date, so I am actually quite astonished by its omission.

    Especially because BPRD was included, BPRD was good but Hellboy was much better. It's a real head scratcher.
