For being so underutilized after Supergirl, not getting the Birds of Prey spot and not getting a New 52 book, I'm not the least bit surprised he's already got stuff elsewhere.
I mean, why contract a guy if you're just going to put him on a book you know's getting cancelled soon (Zatanna) then a four issue mini series? Should have gotten more work, in my opinion.
A criminally underrated artist. He always gets the job done and always a nice, clean style. It'd be great to see him do creator owned from his mind, maybe something for Image!

I want to see a Venture one shot with Jay Faerber please...
I didn't know he was DC exclusive. What a waste on their part to underutilize him so. That said, glad it's not on bad terms and I hope he shows up elsewhere (DC included) soon.
His SUPERGIRL team with Sterling Gates (himself also possibly off the DC exclusive bandwagon) was the best (and steadiest) that series ever had, after a rocky 1st 3 years of creative shakeups and (IMO) pointlessness.
He should go to Marvel, I mean I would love to see some of his work on Spider-man.![]()
I was really digging his Supergirl during the New Krypton stuff. "Criminally underrated" is dead on.
Go to marvel, they will make you a young gun or something and help you up your profile even more i think a spot just opened up.
That series was solicited well before any thought of him leaving DC entered thought; but when he disappeared from future HAWK & DOVE solicits the thought sprung to mind.
That said, he's moreorless a protege of Geoff Johns' - and it surprises me that he'd leave DC with Johns in power now (or that Johns would let him go and not give him more productive/inticing work).
well, he does confirm he's no longer an exclusive writer to DC, so it could have been some time ago
