Not even on a cover, as far as I know. I thought it was fairly ironic that the top penciller and top inker never worked together. For that matter, I can't recall the #2s, John Buscema and Terry Austin, working together either. Weird!

I don't know much about this, but was it a case of millions buying his comics because they loved the art or did he happen to be in the right place at the right time, since his time coincided with speculators buying huge amounts of comics with the belief they would grow in value; much like the collecting boom in sports cards?

It's not my fault that his work brings out the savage in me But I can think of many 90s books I have no interest in, mainly due to his artwork, where kneecaps were sometime bigger than heads.

And...statistical fact...he wasn't mentioned once in the votes this year even though his 'era' of almost 20 years ago falls well within 'classic'...

I've gotta say my take away is a new appreciation for the Severin siblings and adding them to my buy list. I have some of their work from years ago, but not much, and my collection is buried so I literally haven't seen it for years.

Whether together or apart, their work is certainly impressive.

I can see it's popular to bash Leifeld because of the poor anatomy, prospective etc in his artwork, but Fans bought his stuff by the boatloads. He has been elevated to star status by fans. Now some of the same people are taking shots whenever they can. Not saying anyone here. Kim Khardashian has been similarly elevated to star status and she has no talent whatsoever.

Don't actually care much for Adams (shocking, I know) and my favorite John Buscema inker is John Buscema. Had it been a list of 20, though, Buscema/Klein would definitely make the cut.

A writer whom I've friended on Facebook said that based on meeting Liefeld (German, I gather, for "no feet") a couple of times, he can best be summed up as "a living baseball cap turned backwards."
