I just registered and sent the Administrator a PM regarding my account, hopefully he lets me on today! I want to express my love for Kirby: Genesis and my disdain for Dynamite treating the franchise with the kind of treatment it's been given, this is a great series of books that deserve to keep going and not lay dormant for an extended period of time until DE decides that the characters are worth another look at.

Keep the Kirby titles alive baby!

Silver Star #5 was great, the whole story with Norma has been nothing short of fantastic and the artwork is slowly but surly improving issue by issue and has really began to grow on me. It's sad to know this book is ending soon with a possible 2013 rebirth, but it's been a fun ride and every issues has been outdoing the previous one, which is a sign of a book that has a creative team who want's to learn and get better.

    Go get this book!

The way this issue ended almost seemed like it was the final issue, but they have a preview blurb for issue no6 at the end of this one. Until I saw that I freaked out a bit lol

I read silver Star no5 again and I loved watching that guy tool on SS just to get his head knocked of, haha. He came back though and may cause trouble in the next few issues. D:

I agree. It was the way that they were holding hands on the last panel that made me kind of think twice, but since there was a notation of what to look forward to in the next issue it's obviously not the final issue (thank god). The whole "love" thing kind of irks me a bit though, they need to not play too much into it because it's definitely not going to be a good deuce ex machina to tie up loose ends.

    Default Cv #6

I just finished pencils and inks on Captain Victory #6 not too long ago, and it was an absolute PLEASURE to work on this project. Working with some great Kirby characters, and I think Sterling Gates' story was terrific. Sterling did a great job of giving the reader an insight into the Tiger 20 character, while also hooking the story onto the longer arc. Personally I think Tiger 20 has the potential to be the Boba Fett of the Kirby Universe.

    thanks--

Thanks for the update, Joe. I guess that means we should be seeing Issue #5 soon!

I am LOVING Captain Victory thus far. The concept of focusing on one character's back-story each issue while continuing the overarching story has been fantastic. Issue 5 should be Mister Mind and Issue 6 is obviously Tiger 20. Too bad the series is likely ending shortly after that for the forseeable future...I will miss it.

    Joe,

If you just finished the pencils on #6 recently than I suppose issue #5 should be out either this upcoming Wednesday or the following Wednesday, or at least I hope it is. I just want to say that I'm enjoying the book quite a bit and the whole Kirby universe as a whole has been highly enjoyable, I'll be sad to see it end soon but happy when Dynamite revisits it in 2013 like they promised they would. Keep up the great work and nudge Nick Barrucci and tell him the "Genesis" fans want their universe back, and ASAP. :P

Looks like a new issue of Captain Victory will be out this Wednesday morning! I'm super excited for this as it's been a while since we've gotten anything Kirby: Genesis related, I just hope that people will still support this line and buy it!

Just read issue 5. Another really solid sci fi story, some added plot points, good art (improved coloring too, IMHO) and some focus on Mr. Mind--though I would have liked some background like we got with the other crew members thus far. Really sucks with the delays and eventual cancellation (I refuse to say "break"or "hiatus" anymore until I see Dynamite bring a series back) because this is a good cosmic book you just don't find very often today.

Captain Victory 5 was so good. I got to spend my afternoon watching golf and trying to remember what the hell was happening in the series (Man, I LOVED the Micro-Rangers in #4), and then #5 was awesome. It felt a little bit rushed (I think it needed another 4 pages), and now. . . I have to wait for who knows how long for issue #6.

I've really liked Silver Star as well. Couldn't get in to Dragonsbane at all and Genesis is pretty good, but Captain Victory is right now on my top 10 list for comic runs I've enjoyed this past year.

I hope they keep this going. It's very well done (other than the delays and hiatuses).
