    Daredevil at number one huh?

I have to admit I didn't see that coming.

I'm also delighted that Batwoman and Snyder's run on 'Tec made it into the top ten.

Kate Fatale recommended I read Snyder's run on 'Tec a while back, and I'm so glad I followed through on it.

I can't think of any other comic that left me on the edge of my seat and gripping the armchair. It's so good.

Glad to see Habibi is on there as well, though it was slightly Orientalist in nature, particularly with the depiction of the harems.

But Craig Thompson's artwork never fails to be a visual delight.

I was close at predicting the top ten yesterday.

    Daredevil
    Batwoman
    Habibi
    Uncanny X-Force
    Hark! A Vagrant
    Justice League
Love and Rockets New Stories Volume 4
    The Death-Ray
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Volume III: Century #2 1969
Surprised Justice League didn't make the list top 100 at all. I guess The Death-Ray didn't make the list since it was somewhat a reprint of older material.

By the way, we are making preparations to hold a Top 50 2011 comics list on the Forums so posters can have their own voice in what they enjoyed this year. I'll be posting the announcement in the next day or so.

None of my thee favourites made it into the top 100 (Hellboy, Baltimore and Mouse Guard) but I still enjoyed following along and have a few things I want to check out now. Hey, no Usagi Yojimbo? Maybe I missed that one.
    Recent Nature Sightings:
Sept 24: Two Orcas close to shore.
Nov 14: Trumpeter Swans, Bald Eagles catching salmon (and a duck!), Harbour Seals, Steller Sea Lions, Kingfisher.

    Daredevil over Scalped lol

I don't get the hype around that series besides the Martin art it's a pretty standard and pedestrian title.

I felt Uncanny X Force was much better but glad it made the top 10

    hooray for Hark! A Vagrant

Here's Brian Cronin's (CSBG blogger) Top 10 list and how they listed in the Top 100 list.

    http://goodcomics.comicbookresources...omics-of-2011/

    10. Batman, Inc. [95]
    9. American Vampire: Survival of the Fittest [54]
    8. Blammo #7
    7. Infinite Kung Fu [30]
    6. Daredevil [1]
    5. Punisher MAX [41]
    4. Troop 142
    3. Hark! A Vagrant [3]
    2. Scalped [7]
    1. Habibi [5]

So we can see that even though a contributor listed a selection high on their list, in Brian's case Troop 142 at #4, it didn't make the list. This means that #100 most likely scored at least 7 points from all the lists combined.

Wow DC 52 was apparently popular in this list.

Superhero rules. Not like its important award like Eisner.

    American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
