My favorite comic wasn't on this list. A comic I don't read was. This is a stupid list, made by stupid people.
"If you can't say anything good about someone, sit right here by me." - Alice Roosevelt Longworth, on manners
"It's not whether you win or lose, it's whether I win or lose." - Peter David, on life
Nice to see Hickman's FF and Brubaker and Phillip's Criminal on the list.
I just read the first volume of Criminal, it was pretty awesome.
Glad to see Batgirl and Morning Glories doing so well, also.
This is a stupid, pointless post, made by ... No, I'm not going to get personal. But you'd think with 50k+ posts under your belt, you'd have a bit more to say than this. Really, why should anyone care about your point when you are so dismissive? What comic is your favorite? Have you checked all the lists?
Cmon, man, put some effort in to life.

I ain't no hot dog, yo.
Obviously Ghostbusters has made the top 25. My thanks in advance!
Seriously, some very good stuff on this list. I've been updating my to-reads. Happy New Year, ev'body!
Hey, I have a Facebook Fan Page. Be a fan or terrible things will happen. Maybe.
I also have a Twitter.
Books I get...
50- Fables : While I love Fables each month , I can't help but wonder if #50 is a bit high for it. The series has had some issues finding a direction after Gepato's fall and the Mr.Dark arc suddenly ending.
41- PunisherMAX : While Punisher in the 616 finally returned to some greatness , its PunisherMax which is the best Punisher book the past few years. Such a damn shame its ending soon.
40- FF/Fantastic Four : The books by Hickman are ranked pretty good. The books as a whole have been fun and I really love the storylines running. In all its a book I wish more read.
"Heads up-- If Havok's position in UA #5 really upset you, it's time to drown yourself hobo piss. Seriously, do it. It's the only solution." - Rick Remender
Sucks 200 character limit.

When I started reading your response I assumed you had got the sarcasm, because your response still works. We all have our own taste, and indeed odds are we don't keep up with all 100 comics on the list, but great comics we do love will be snubbed. And yes we'll complain about it and point out what we'd do differently, it makes sense.
What's funny is I went back and looked at lists from 2008 and up, and those threads always had a response like that too. Yes, you predicted that people will point out that their favorite comic is missing from the list, okay thank you.
Speaking of which, I'm really not digging the list. Too much favor on whats new and in the comic news, long running and dependably excellent indie titles with the same team staying on for years really get the shaft here.
For example, the lack of Invincible, Savage Dragon, and many others. Invincible was #34 in 2008 and number #89 last year. It's better than ever, so I guess they just don't put much favor on long running indie books here.
And really, having Artifacts on here but no Witchblade is kind of typical of the way CBR lists work, it's almost like a computer makes these lists. Artifacts is the crossover one that was mentioned more in comics news, so it's the one on the list. Witchblade doesn't fit the mold of the list apparently, though it's a strong long running title by the same writer, falling between the cracks with not enough buzz. Lotta titles like that.
The lack of Savage Dragon is especially shameful, what an excellent historic year that title has had. And hey four issues of Omac, you wanna see some Kirby-esque greatness, take a look at Dragon doing it better.
And just for the record, I do enjoy checking out lists like this even though inevitably they don't match my taste, I mean for example Judge Dredd and 2000AD in general won't ever be on the list, since its UK and doesn't move many units in the US. I know a lot of my favs won't be on the radar here, and the usual response I guess is to discourage this kind of post, but hell this kind of post is fun to post. Post.

DROKK IT!!
I also loved Fables, Green Wake, FF, Morning Glories, Infinite Kung-Fu, Finder, Sixth Gun, Journey Into Mystery, and Chew.
I plan on reading iZombie, Severed, Optic Nerve, PunisherMAX, and Criminal.
Not as many I hadn't heard of on this part of the list. Looking forward to the rest, as I'm sure more discoveries await!
Glad to see deadpool max on there.
Now, for some constructive criticism, I'll say these lists would benefit from being expanded to the top 150. A lot of the really interesting stuff doesn't make CBRs lists or barely does, and this would give some more people a look at them.
For example, Hack/Slash made the list at #98 in 2008 and then was missing every year since. It barely got a mention, and there are many truly great comics like that. If I had to explain why I think they're missing, I guess it's because they're neither mainstream Marvel/DC nor "arthouse" darlings.
There's this place in the middle where really clever, dependably high quality books are that don't get enough attention from comics press.
