OMAC at #52? AWESOME! The only DCnU title I am reading anymore.
Pull List: Valiant Comics, Haunted Horror, Popeye Classics, Suicide Squad, Uncanny X-Force, X-Men
I agree with Locke and Key, Atomic Robo, All Star Western, American Vampire, and Flashpoint Batman Knight of Vengeance.
I'm also looking forward to reading A Tale of Sand, Feynman, Wolves, Who Is Jake Ellis?, Vengeance, Satrun Apartments, Any Empire, Centifolia II, And OnwardS Toward Our Noble Deaths.
Tons of great stuff this year I didn't even know about. Always love these lists from CBR.
A lot of these titles are so out of the blue..
The title I'm most pleasantly surprised to see on this list is OMAC, which has been a surprisingly good book since its launch. One of my favorites of the New 52.
Also, happy to see WHO IS JAKE ELLIS make the cut and seriously, FLASHPOINT: BATMAN: KNIGHT OF VENGEANCE is the only book from FLASHPOINT worth mentioning.

I ain't no hot dog, yo.
I will agree on Batman: Knight of Vengeance, the only memorable thing to come out of a forgettable event. Damn great book, a perfect meld of story and art.
I haven't read any of the picks for #75-51. I've heard good things about The Boys so I may check that out. The two titles that interest me the most are...
75. A Tale of Sand. It looks beautiful.
74. The Boys. One of my few comic reading fans in RL was just recommending this title to me a few days ago.
71. Feynman. I've read autobiographical memoirs by Feynman and he is a very interesting and dynamic individual. That the graphic novel explains some of his science is something that I'm interested to see.
Recent Nature Sightings:
Sept 24: Two Orcas close to shore.
Nov 14: Trumpeter Swans, Bald Eagles catching salmon (and a duck!), Harbour Seals, Steller Sea Lions, Kingfisher.
One book I got...
56- Witch Doctor was good for the 2 issues I got. The 3rd one was a bit much with the whole bigger destiny direction. But it ranking so high makes sense. It was a good read.
"Heads up-- If Havok's position in UA #5 really upset you, it's time to drown yourself hobo piss. Seriously, do it. It's the only solution." - Rick Remender
Sucks 200 character limit.
Becky Cloonan's Wolves looks interesting. But checking out her website, right now you can only get copies from her at a convention.
I just requested Any Empire from the library.
And I am eagerly awaiting the trade paperback on Archie Meets KISS.
Free your soul and let it fly....
Any Empire sounds really cool, I'll have to check it out.
OMAC placing higher than The Boys and Batman Incorporated makes this whole list laughable. Can't wait to see what got #1.
Hobos frighten me. It's time my enemies shared my dread.
Looks like consistently great long running indie books like Savage Dragon and Invincible might get overlooked this year.
I mean, personal taste and all, but for me what Dragon accomplished this year is a lot more notable than say, Omac.
Also, it seems like these lists are mostly about what's new and thus comic news. These indie titles that have the same team and remain consistently excellent only get a nod once in a while. For example, Hack/Slash has had a great year, but it only made a CBR list at #98 back in 2008.
It is hard to rank comics with only 3 or 4 issues against ones with 10 to 12 too.
And while I do dig that they put a very niche title like Savage Sword on the list, Conan: Road of Kings is much more awesome. There's still a chance these titles will be in the top 50, but a slimmer chance than even before with the new 52 and whatnot.
