Whoa... I flew through the Pain Invasion arc. I read like 3 volumes in 3 days! Naruto just Rasengan'd the main Pain, Tendo. Good shit!

I'm enjoying Part II of Naruto way more than I thought I would be! Its not perfect but its still fun.

Thing is that Konoha really couldn't afford a civil war at this point. Danzo's true motivation was getting extra eyes for his Sharingarm, sure, but:

Dunno in what shape Konoha emerged from the Third Ninja War, but in the following years they 1) lost Orochimaru (missing nin), 2) lost Tsunade (permanent AWOL), 3) lost Jiraiya (effectively unavailable, keeping an eye abroad for Orochimaru), 4) lost Minato, 5) lost the deterrent of their adult, trained jinchuuriki, 6) let Kumo walk all over them during the Hinata kidnap incident to avoid a war, 7) had the Nine Tails rampage for a bit through downtown Konoha...

Well, because he's an Uchiha, and Uchiha make ridiculously stupid decisions. Just look at the decisions he and his brother have made for examples.

Itachi is still under the mind control genjutsu of Shisui's eye, so it's probably deliberate. I mean Sasuke told him he was gonna go after Konoha next and the genjutsu is "protect Konoha" in otherwords Itachi is running away from having to kill Sasuke and leaving that job to Kabuto. So Sasuke will either come out with another asspull or get an upgrade.

Also wouldn't it be hilarious if Kabuto is just sacrificing the other Edo zombies so that he could get the 4 Hokage's from the Shinigami's stomach in their prime as his new Edo Tensei. XD

Nice to know what actually happened that night. So there were other children besides Sasuke and Itachi killed them all.

Liked the scene with his parents. Fugaku did care.

Edo Tensei still isn't over, which means Madara may not be out just yet.

Sidenote: What the hell happened to the Senjuu? We know the Uchiha got Itachi'ed, but where are the Senjuu. Their numbers were roughly even with the Uchiha during the time of Konoha's foundation. Did they merge with the general population of Konoha or something? As it is now the only confirmed Senjuu is Tsunade (not counting the Uzumaki who also got wiped out by unknown factors).

Because simply waiting and hoping talks would eventually work, when they clearly weren't, wasn't gonna work. As terrible as Danzo is, at least he had that point. Well maybe not concerning the children.

Anyway, enjoyed finally getting confirmation on what went down with the Uchiha massacre. And that ending between the brothers was touching.

Because I want to, Akatsuki ranking list:

1) Nagato
2) Itachi

3) Deidara/Konan/Kisame (okay, ordering these 3 is kind of hard for me. Konan (with prep) has some insane explosive power. Her paper body makes her hard to hurt, and she has one of the best flight abilities. She lacks speed feats though. Deidara has some very nice versatility with his bombs and those bombs pack a lot of punch. He's fast and can fight armless. Kisame has less firepower compared to the other two, but he has better reactions, is tougher and stronger. His chakra eating abilities are some of the best and give him some nice regen. Plus, he can turn the entire battlefield into a lake. Without prep, Konan would probably be around or below Kakuzu's level)
