Only way a Part Three could really happen is if Kishi changes the main character, since Naruto and Sasuke power and threat levels are already too crazy.
I would actually like it if Konohamaru was to replace Naruto.
I diagree. Naruto and Sasuke still aren't at the level of the kages or Madara. Granted, their power is fairly ridiculous, but I wouldn't consider either of them to be at peak performance. If Kishi could come up with some good ideas to keep the two of them from killing each other that long, I think a Part Three would be pretty awesome.

That's it, I'm going to have to bump Kabutomaru out and move Lee up to his spot on my Naruto favs list.Originally Posted by Rock Mother F'in Lee

I've got a question: why do most Naruto fanfics classify the henge jutsu as an illusion genjutsu instead of a physical transformation jutsu? Because whenever it's used in the manga, it acts as a physical transformation.

Because fan fics are written by and for boring people that don't care about details about that*
*yeah I know, there are like 4 amazing fan fics out there but according to the math the billion horrible ones make up an astounding majority

Do you write fanfics with a self insert character that is better looking than the sage of 6 paths, that is better at taijutsu than konohamaru, has higher chakra stores than temari, and is fawned over by every character regardless of sex?
Do you improperly present techniques by making a physical transformation into an illusion?
Do I need to keep going? Because I mean...there's a lot of bad out there to work with.
But like I said....there's a few goodies out there....nothing wrong with trying to be one of them.

Maybe not up to Madara's level yet, but both Sasuke and Naruto have shown to be able to match the kages, specifically Ee. Naruto personally has actually been said to surpass them and Sasuke shouldn't be far behind. And we haven't even seen them completely mastering their individual abilities yet. Even at this point, where could they possibly go and what sort of opponents could they possibly face that could provide any suitable challenge without screwing up the power levels even more.
One of our earliest in-combat examples though was Naruto henge-ing himself into a windmill Shuriken. When the clone threw the real Naruto at Sasuke, Sasuke was able to tell that it was Naruto, though was clearly still wielding him like a Shuriken, to the point that he could perform the Shadow Shuriken trick with him.
It should be virtually impossible for him to perform that trick if it was only an illusion and that was really Naruto's body gracefully flying through the air in perfect step with the real Shuriken to hide in it's shadow.
