Well, that could work actually, because the above is actually an assumption. He said he's nice and free now with immortal body and limitless chakra, but what if there are some crappy downsides to Edo'ing yourself. I mean, really, Edo'ing yourself *should* have a crappy downside or two. I hope so; otherwise Ninja Liches are going to become pretty standard 20 years from now.

Honestly, given that it requires:

1 - Someone has to Edo Tensei you first. (Since Edo Tensei only works after you're dead.)
2 - That person has to allow you to do it.
3 - You must know how to use Edo Tensei.

...I can see why nobody else ever thought of doing it, is what I'm saying. Given that there are all of four (five if Tobi knows too) characters who know how to use the damn thing.

Kishi just said he expects the manga to go on for more than 1.5 years still, which is more than he originally expected when he last gave an answer to that question. So I think another arc after this one is a given.

Doubt it. Jiraiya nevered dabbled in stuff to overcome death and his death scene was pretty much the end of his storyline which was all about making the choice that Naruto is ninja-jesus.

Orochimaru's whole thing was to overcome death. So Kishimoto has neat little excuse there to kill him off and then resurrect him in the most casual manner as many times as he wants to.

Actually, now that I think about it, Hashirama's cells aren't covered by the Edo Tensei regen.

So blowing him enough should remove one of his power sources.

Would that be Tsunade or Mei doing the dirty deed? ^_^
