I've got to say, for me this was a brilliant chapter. I enjoyed it immensely. It brings about a whirlwind of emotions. I can't help but look back at Neji's history and think of where he's been. And I think he grew to be a great ninja. His end was tragic and heartbreaking and that made this chapter more.
I did not expect it would be Neji to die. But then again, fate no longer has control over him. He chose how to live his life and how to leave it. And that's amazing.
And I see there's some interesting development between Naruto and Hinata. I'm looking forward to this.
Hmmm.. Maybe because it needs a living sacrifice to work. And Madara isn't alive enough to give back his life?Actually, that just made me realize something. Why can't Madara use it on himself?
Sometimes you lose things which you don't expect losing. It doesn't make the hurt any less.
I think this is the best chapter since...well, at least since the one where Naruto fought the third Raikage. Possibly even longer. I've honestly felt like Naruto has been less interesting than Bleach, Fairy Tail, and One Piece for a while now. We'll see if that turns around now.
When you are suffering, know that I have betrayed you.
Hey Naruto, what happened to not letting them harm your comrades?
Somebody got told.
Awesome chapter, didn't expect Kishi to have guts to kill a semi-important character like that.
And best of all no flashback.![]()
"I checked the abandoned warehouse, only to find it abandoned..."
NEJI! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
naruto..........................drop.............. ....the motherfuckin'.................HAMMER!!!

wanna make some quick cash?
...Well, that's it, Naruto better kill those bastards now, hopefully wiping that damn Uchiha smugness to boot.
I have to admit Neji went Hell far with his character till this point. From being a dick to being a fricking awesome badass...If he only had more screen time in Part 2...

Thank God, Hinata didn't die!
... Uhhh... I mean... Oh no, not Neji...
And sure, the Hyuugas are the strongest clan in Konoha. Now that the Uchihas and Senjuu aren't around anymore. And the Akimichi don't really care enough to try for the title.

Getting over the initial sadness. those were wonderful final lines.
Really, really good final lines.
On the plot, we finally get why it was supposed to be Rinne Tensei, and we even get an explanation as to why Juubi doesn't just blast the alliance.
It also makes me wonder what would happen if Tobi tried to phase. Either it could cut off his connection to the Juubi which would be bad, or he plain can't phase while connected to the Juubi because the thing is too damn big. Kind of like when Kakashi kamui'ed Eight Tails.
Also, Hiashi is strong. Really strong.
"Madara, I have the resurrection jutsu. Your plan is at my mercy."
"I guess, yeah."
"So we do as I say."
"Okay. What do we do now?"
"Make them feel despair!"
"...How is that any different from what I was doing?"
Suffering is a fact of life. You survive if you find a reason to endure it.
Those two need their own sitcom more than Hidan and Kakazu did.
Also.
He'll be back. Don't worry. While it irritates me to think Kishi will reuse the exact same method as the Pain Invasion...I'm pretty sure he will.
