More like foreshadowed. It was obvious the guy's dimensional jutsu came from the Sharingan. Kakashi's dimensional jutsu came from the sharingan. Tobi being able to no sell Kamui due to said dimensional jutsu was foreshadowed many chapters ago.
Sharing the same dimension makes so much sense, I'm kind of stumped no one figured it out sooner.
Off screen training. The best kind of training. All the benefits. None of the filler. But I wonder, since when did Kakashi became such Chakra beast? He should be out of fuel ten times over by now.
Really though, the guy has been fighting almost non stop since the war started. Same can be said for Gai. Tobi too when you think about it.
Now I have this hilarious image of Tobi meditating in his dimension when suddenly a Clay Clone of Deidara shows up and Tobi yells "What the Fu..." *BOOOM*
Then when he's en route to pick up Sasuke after the Danzo battle, he suddenly has to dodge this big ass Susanoo arrow. "Goddamnit Kakashi...!"

Kakashi is pretty much the back breaker for Tobi right now. He may have lost his ability to phase through and possibly teleport because Kakashi might just send bombs into the alternative dimension. And as people have said, this makes the the theory of Tobi being Obito all that much more plausible. But I wouldn't have guessed it would have have been done in this way.
Kakashi really did become a chakra beast with all those kamui. He's practically surpassed one of his major limitations in this war. I guess this war has developed him just as much as it has developed his companions.
And with this Tobi will have to do something to counteract his situation. The technique he most relies on has been almost totally rendered useless by the team work of Kakashi, Gai, Bee and Naruto. He's going to have to start a new set of techniques if he has any chance of winning.
It's nice teamwork for the protagonists. It's nice to see how they can work together to fight Tobi.
It's a pretty interesting chapter.

Sometimes you lose things which you don't expect losing. It doesn't make the hurt any less.
The Obito = Tobi thing still has to get past the fact that Obito was like, 13-ish when Tobi fought the Fourth Hokage. Also, Kisame recognized Tobi by *face* as the real 3rd Mizukage.

I've got MORE questions about the new Naruto movie. Questions like: is Sakura an Uzumaki now, or does the rules of being the kyuubi jinchuuriki different in the AU? If she is, does this mean she's an Uzumaki in the regular world, or is it only in the AU world? And does this mean Kushina is now Sakura's mother, or is she still Naruto's mother? Does that mean Naruto and Sakura are related now? And were they related in the regular world, meaning that the NaruSaku pairing is incestuous? Or are the Haruno related to the Senju/Rikudou Sennin now?

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of themself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Live, I will kill you, If I Die, You are forgiven." Such is the Rule of Honor.
So basically Sakura's dad was so good at being a ninja, he even beat out Minato as the Fourth Hokage? Why is Minato not the fourth Hokage in the alternate world?
Hmm.. from what I recall, the main reality's Sakura has parents who are civillians. Now I'm interested in seeing Sakura's parents in the main reality, they may have time to catch up.

For all we know, Sakura's dad is a natural genius talent at being a ninja and a leader, even more than Minato was. However, in the main reality, for some reason he opted not to go to ninja school. Maybe his TRUE passion in life is baking or something, and he followed that. Potential not discovered and unfulfilled. In the alt-universe, something made him go to ninja school and his unlimited potential was revealed.

Wait... I thought it was said that Sakura was the Jinchuriki. Or are they both jinchuriki? And if Sakura isn't the jinchuriki, then why did her dad make Naruto the jinchuriki? Cause, depending on how you look at it, this means that either he's a prick who decided his daughter was too good to be the jinchuriki, or Minato was a prick for condemning his own son to the life of a jinchuriki.
