I've always been a fan of the irredeemable villain. The one you don't have to care or feel sorry for. Don't get me wrong, I understand you need to add a motive or some sort of story behind a villain's madness. It worked wonders for Pain, but I do have a soft spot for characters who are evil for no reason. That's what I got from Oro since day one.

Puh-leeze! Sasuke and the Uchiha Sharingan is too overpowered, predict movements,make reality an illusion(izanagi technique) copy techniques, unbreakable illusions, and control over the tailed beasts, Sasuke Have Godly Powers and too prideful(Im invincible kind of attitude)

and no one can stop him, Naruto being the protagonist dont have relevance,

tecniques other than rasengan and its variants (useless), kage bushin(useless), sage mode(useful) and summoning(never uses it), jinchuriki form(useless against the godly sharingan), being slower than a turtle and very stupid,

Sasuke being a Villain have more relevance,power, tecniques, intelligence, speed, the Bijuu or tailed beasts from being almost invincible became very weak pokemons that anybody can beat except naruto.

Sasuke was looking at Anko's cursed seal, I'm assuming that there's a portion of Orochimaru's soul or something in there that he thinks he can get at.

I can't believe that I'm almost caught up. I just read Kisame's mini flashback in volume 54 after Guy beat him silly, haha. For all the complaining tons of people do, Naruto really isn't a bad series. Sure it has problems and it has gotten dumb in some areas but its a fun series with a pretty interesting plot. I kinda flew through all these volumes that I own so I'll probably re-read the series a few years after its finished and released over in the US.

One thing thats bothering me is, is Tobi really Madara? At some points it seems that he is but at others it doesn't. Guess I'll have to wait and find out. Seems like a ton of interesting things are going on in the current stuff. Haha.

And can someone please beat Madarra he's just so smug it's ridiculous, I mean 7 to 10 says that most of the current Kages could probably have stayed toe to toe with him when he was fighting the First at the VotE but just because he's brought back and super trolling levels he thinks he's like some super Sage grrr.

I wonder where this thing with Sasuke is going though; I think he just reached a turning point and is about to become a antihero *facepalm*

I think it's great.

I mean, usually I think that smug characters are utterly annoying, but Madara is clearly just doing it because he's a show-off, so somehow it works for him. (Obviously others disagree.)

I mean 7 to 10 says that most of the current Kages could probably have stayed toe to toe with him when he was fighting the First at the VotE but just because he's brought back and super trolling levels he thinks he's like some super Sage grrr.

Even if we say that the Complete Susano-o eats through chakra at lightning speed (it probably does), he really would only need one swing to take out any of them.

Hell, just about *every* move he's pulled on them required teamwork to counter. And the transformation didn't increase his power - it gave unlimited chakra so he can throw his moves without running out, regeneration and the Rinnegan, but even without it, he would still have all of his regular jutsus and his Sharingan-based moves. Which would be more than enough against any of the five.

If you mean the five together, then if they managed to dodge Susano-o long enough or if Madara screwed around at first like he did here, sure.

Honestly, going to get advice from Orochimaru is not really a move that signals that you're about to become a good/semi-good guy.

Finished volume 54 in one day! I enjoyed it, the volume was pretty packed with content. 2 more volumes to go!

Same here. The guy is a total show off, but it really works for him. The fact that he can actually back it up also helps him.

Kishimoto's going to need a gallon of lube and a dozen skilled proctologists to get the asspull necessary for anyone to defeat immortal unlimited chakra Sharinneton Madara.

Asspull, you say? How about this? Itachi reenters his body, joins the Kages's battle, and once they create another opening he uses the sword of Totsuka on Madara. He also conveniently learned the seals to cancel Edo Tensei right before it ended, and we saw that Madara was able to reenter his body even after his spirit left, so Itachi might be floating nearby waiting for Sasuke to leave the cave to avoid the potential awkwardness.

I would rule this out as utterly absurd if it wasn't for the coincidence of the way to break free of Edo Tensei's contract being exactly what Itachi learned and for Madara escaping being a major failure in Itachi's vow to end Edo Tensei since he was the only one left who mattered at all.

Gotta love the reveal about Orochimaru still being alive. Can't wait to see where he's been. Also enjoyed Sasuke beginning to question his purpose. It merely confirms my belief that had Itachi revealed all this back in their battle, he could have changed Sasuke then and prevented all that happen since.

Just read Volume 55 today, which was the start of the war. Ya know, I'm really enjoying it so far for some reason. I admit its dumb that he has to reuse all these old characters that were killed off way too early, which shows he's must be out of ideas. But really, what else could Kishimoto could have done? Literally all the villains have been killed off by this point. Really, only 3, 4 including Sasuke are left. I don't know what to consider Sasuke at this point, my theory for a while has been that he'll probably see the light or something because of Naruto and end up sacrificing himself. Zetsu really isn't strong, at least that's the way it seems. The only 2 formidable foes left are Tobi/Madara and Kabuto. This series is definitely in it's endgame now.

Its been a pretty fun ride reading the entire series within like half a year, honestly I think I read it too fast. Heh, give me few years after it finishes and I'll probably re-read it.

Well one more volume to go until I'm caught up to the English releases. Still deciding whether or not I should read the series online weekly and buy the volumes whenever they are released in America. Thoughts?
