Great flash back, we got to the edge of boring and just narrowly avoided it. Like many said, it was danzo and oro that saved the chapter and ultimately helped strengthen kabuto as a character which in turn helps make this fight with the uchia brothers a little more legitimate.

In my Naruto re-read I'm currently at the part where Naruto goes to save Gaara from Akatsuki, I'm really enjoying this arc so far... I blew through 2 volumes in 1 day. Haha... just like the old days. Waiting weekly sucks.

Haven't read any of the chapters lately so to avoid spoilers I'm not reading anything... just throwing in my 2 cents as I play catch up.

EDIT: (Unrelated but I have a question)

I just recently also re-read Death Note, I enjoyed it more this time around, probably because I'm older... although it really isn't a super complicated mature series. After I catch up to Naruto I plan on re-reading Bleach and One Piece, then I plan jumping onto some new matrial. Can you guys recommend me some stuff? It can be manga or graphic novels from any country as long as it is translated into English.

Just finished up the Sasori fight, I think I'm enjoying Naruto more this time. The series isn't spectacular but its still entertaining me. I wonder when it starts going way downhill. If I remember correctly, I stopped caring after the Pein arc but my tastes have changed somewhat since then.

Also, sorry for the double post, but it has been sometime since my last post. If its against the rules I won't do it again.

I thought the pain arc was one of the coolest, i enjoyed the flashbacks with Jiraya and the three sanin. :( Also who can forget the awesomeness where naruto meets his father one last time.

Kabuto snaps. I'm surprised it took him that long. Good thing Oro can vomit a new body.

Also, Kabuto smiling when he looks at the thing he is about to inject himself with was creepy.

Ah screw it... this weekend I'm going to solely read Naruto so I can catch up and see what the heck you guys are talking about, haha. Although I do enjoy taking my time. What am I talking about.. I'm not gonna catch up!

Seeing Kabuto just go crazy attacking Orochimaru was the highlight if the chapter. Also nice to get the various cameos, though still have no idea how the timeline is suppose to work.
