Default Do you want Penguin To Appear In Snyders Court Of Owls Arc?

For some reason I think it would be fitting for Penguin to pop up.

His family is a big part of Gothams history, the whole bird concept, and plus it would be cool to see Capullo draw him and Snyder write him.

Does anyone else want him to appear in this arc as much as I do?

Penguin showed up in Gates of Gotham, which was kind of like a prequel to this in that it introduced Alan Wayne...

But yeah, I'd love to see Cobblepot swoop in on a flying umbrella at some point.

I don't know, I like it when villains get an arc all to themselves. When you start cramming too many in it devalues the threat each one should represent.

I wouldn't mind if snyder did an arc after this one starring penguin as the villain though. But supposedly he has a good idea for a joker arc.

Maybe at the very end . . . have a "birds of a feather" conspiracy where one is bankrolling the other.

I don't know if "want" is the right word, but as the only major Bat-villain with a long-term family connection to Gotham I think he could very easily fit into the arc. Even so, I don't think he should be associated with the CoO so much as like Batman, beneath their notice.

What I'd find most satisfying would be Bruce Wayne (not Batman) and Oswald Cobblepot having to work together against the Court.
Anyone who thinks DC is bringing back the Silver Age doesn't know what the Silver Age is.

There is no such word as "persay," it's per se, two words, from the Latin.

Yeah, it just seems logical for him to pop up in this arc.

PLUS: Capullo seems to really want to draw the guy and I really want to see him draw him.

Would make for a great cover.

I love Capullo's Penguin! (Enough to color it.)

    Good job on the coloring.

Personally, I would love to see more of Batmans rogue gallery drawn by Capullo. Especially the Penguin, Ra's Al Ghul, Poison Ivy, and The Joker.

Out of those four it makes sense for the Penguin to show up and it would really cool to have him in the books for the history.

No, but when Court of Penguins starts up in June I'd hate it for him to not be there.

There feasibly could be. Give me a bit.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, my resizing capabilities are less than ideal. It was just a little practice job, I didn't have a jumbo-sized set of pencils to work with, just a Googled image of the NYCC promo sketch he'd done.

I'd quite like this. Thanks in advance

As for Cobblepot, yeah, that'd be pretty neat. It also helps that there are many thematic reasons for it- someone who wants to fit in with high society vs. the (apparent) real high society, the Alan Wayne/Mayor Cobblepot connection, probably some more. It could easily be justified.
