    This one of my favorite Vertigo series ever! Some of the issues can easily stand as my favorite of all time (# 12 comes to mind, extravagant expression of creativity in that one). Matty Roth also became one of my favorite comic characters. I'm glad I got to read such a grand story.

    (Northlanders has ended up beating out DMZ for me, actually... but DMZ was still a great story!)
    No one responds to street art anymore.
    People tend to respond to things like loaded guns in their faces.

    That and celebrity spokesmodels.
