Default NIK's PIX Just showing my stuff

Hi, I'm new here and I wanted to show some of my work.
I've done a lot of work on trading card sets over the past few years,
    mostly doing sketch cards.
Comics are what I really love though and hope to one day be good enough to move into that field.
Here's one or two things I've done in the past. Comments are welcome.

A blank variant Spidey issue I painted on.

    Another one I did.

The back cover I did on the above one.

    Thanks for looking!

Really digging that first Black Cat. I'd love to see more of your linework.

Yeah, that's my favorite of the others you posted. I think the rest, especially the Batman one, look too stiff.

You have potential though, I'll be checking this thread for future posts!

Decay, Alex thanks for the feedback, you're right I do need to put more action into my stuff and animate the characters a bit more.

ManiacMatt Thanks. I did the following just recently in a line art style then someone offered to buy them if I would color them up.
He offered double what I was asking so who was I to complain?

Your faces are very unique. I don't mean that in a bad way either. They're almost caricature-esque in a way you don't see a lot of in comics. I'm not sure how I feel about it either way, but it's definitely interesting.

Thanks maniacmatt. I just do my own thing for faces.
I guess I should study current trends to see what everyone else is doing.

Something I just finished recently and is for sale on an auction site.
The Silence from the Doctor Who TV show.
    This one's a 5" x 7" Acrylic painting on a canvas textured card.
