Looks pretty boring.
And to all the people who claimed we'd be turned around on our opinion about Anne Hathaway by the time of the first trailer the way we were about Heath Ledger....errrr, no. No charisma, still not hot enough.

That was a very enticing trailer.
My anticipation is much higher now after getting to see the tone they are setting for the film.
Batman was greatly diminished throughout the trailer, and the constant use of daylight gave a sense of the apocalyptic nature of the threat. This isn't something that will be hidden away in the dark, but rather a total uprooting of Gotham.
Very nice.
I wasn't blown away by the trailer, per se, but I have to say that the scene between Selina and Wayne did make me a little less apprehensive about her suitability for the role.

Why is Joseph Gordon Levitt wearing the Batman costume in that fight on the courthouse steps?
a much different feel when compared to the dark knight trailer but that's good. i like bane and how he's finally portrayed as a serious threat, instead of a hulking brute.
as for miss hathaway, i will reserve judgement for her until i see more of her in the role.
still enjoy bale's bruce wayne over keaton's.

So the standards of whether an actress is hot enough to play Catwoman is whether or not she looks like the type of woman a comic fan on a message board would hang around with in their real life? What's next, we judge the physiques of actors playing superheroes based on whether he looks like a comic book fan's real-life friends as well? How about we judge the caliber of pro athletes on whether or not my real-life friends can play as well?
Superhero comic characters are supposed to look larger than life, not relatable. The supermodel example doesn't work.
Nolan's not going for the mousy secretary turned dominatrix take on Catwoman that Burton did. He's going for what looks to be Miller/Newell/Loeb's take of a woman who rose from poverty to become wealthy yet hasn't forgotten her roots.
I forget who on the boards said it but it looks like Nolan will be examining class warfare in this film. Selina's comments and Bane's actions are indicating that.
Can't wait to see it either way. I just hope Warner didn't interfere too much.
This version of Bane is a breath of fresh air when compared to his Batman & Robin portrayal and props to Nolan for wanting to take a chance with him. I get this vibe we might get a Batman RIP situation with Bruce being "killed" then someone else takes the mantle of Batman towards the end, could be wrong but thats the vibe I'm getting.
I thought Bale make a nice Bruce Wayne also but as far as the best Batman in a live action Batman film go I still say Keaton is the best.

Very little about Marion Cotilliard and JGL in the trailer...Reminds me of how they played down Liam Neeson in the first film's trailers. I'm still one-hundred percent convinced that those 2 are big time characters we will all know and that their roles as we know them now are just a ruse.
Catwoman as the criminal that stole her way to the high life version? Count me in!
