I love all of Cassiday's Six covers. He absolutely killed it on those.

Doesn't make it any less awesome.
I like Ultimate Comics. - Read them with us!

I also buy: Captain America, Avengers, FF, New Avengers, X-Factor, among others

    Not so fast.

Green Goblin and Electro appeared in Ultimate Six.

Doc Ock appeared in Ultimate Six and Hollywood.

Carnage and Lizard (in a flashback) appeared in Carnage

Wolverine appeared in that goofy Spider-Man/Wolverine body swap story.

Elektra appears in Cats & Kings.

So the only ones who don't fit are Hulk and Venom.

I had been continuing the "that's one hell of a cover...that in no way represents what's in the book".

Hulk and Venom are fan favorites! I'd be really disappointed to find out they aren't in there!

I'd go with a Ultimate Six cover.

Well technically they do appear in the last issue of the book, just not really them.

Really? Care to explain? Or are you just looking for ways to dismiss my ideas?

Why do I feel like you think I have some sort of vendetta towards you? It fails to represents what is in the omnibus because 1. as previously mentioned, Hulk and Venom aren't even in any of those arcs and 2. Nowhere in the book does it have those characters attacking Peter. It's like how people are complaining about Andrews's covers because it doesn't show what happens in that single issue (which I find ridiculous to demand that, but that's beside the point), only this time it's a TON of stories so you need to have something that appeals to the eyes, but is also relevant.

It hits the direct market a week from Wednesday. It should start showing up on Amazon soon after (officially they get it three weeks later but they often have it sooner).

I don't think that at all, mate. I think you're rather civil and your jokes are always harmless and playful. It's just that you tend to have a habit of dismissing information without giving a reason as to why you disagree. Your posts present more questions than answers! Lol.

I think you need to read that Dr Strange arc again because I assure you, those characters do in fact feature in the book, except they are an illusion creates by Nightmare. So you see, the cover not only depicts what actually happens in the arc, those characters also feature throughout the entire USM series.

Yeah, I pre-ordered too, but I knew the Amazon release date was probably not when I was actually gonna get it. I'm really looking forward to getting it because I've only read after Ultimatum. I'm gonna be seeing these issues for the first time. And I'm the type of guy who doesn't even flip through a book when I get it. It makes every single issue as rewarding as one you went down to the store for.

You're really in for a treat. The first six arcs are golden, especially Venom (which in my eyes totally redeems an otherwise trash character) and #13 might be my favourite single issue ever.

Yeah you really are in for a treat. I suggest you read only one arc a day though because I think that way you'll just enjoy it more.

You should really think about picking up Millar's legendary run on The Ultimates and The Ultimates 2. I think they're the very best stories the UU has to offer.

Yeah I can tell you're the same kinda guy as I am. No word of a lie, I have at least 20 ongoing stories in my head right now. I read one comic, or one chapter from a trade, and cycle through every other story before I read another issue from the first series. This is how I solved the problem of being really bored while out of work on disability with doctors orders not to go out much. I probably go out twice a week, once to the doctor, and to the comic shop on wednesday. I'm blowing money but it's keeping me sane.
And yeah, I'm definitely gonna be reading Ultimates 1 and 2. Number 1 has been sitting on my shelf waiting until I get the USM Omnibus so I can read them at the same time. I'm reading Ultimate Avengers and Prelude to the Death right now.

The omnibus contains #1-39 and issue #1/2. Considering the first issue was double sized that's about 41 issues and let's just say each issue has 22 pages. 22 times 41 is only 902 yet everywhere I look says this thing is 1000 pages long, what do you think is the other 98 pages?
