I think he's talking about a miniseries that goes through different eras of Spider-Man's history with rotating creative teams.

Something like Hulk Smash Avengers (which has been really good so far). And Stern's the writer for the next issue of that if memory serves.

There've been other people in the role of Spider-Man.

I would suggest that the 50th Anniversary is the time to celebrate Spider-Man, rather than the derivative characters or spin-offs.

The 50th Anniversary of the Beatles was not the time to celebrate the Monkees or Wings.
    Sincerely,

Sold! A great issue, and I really enjoyed spoilers:
seeing the Avengers from Mark Gruenwald and John Buscema's perspective.
    end of spoilers

So Peter Parker Spiderman is coming back? I'll take it over avenging any day.

So...if there's enough demand could we see you on a Spidey ongoing?

I second that, that's the era I started reading so I have a soft spot for it.

I don't like the idea of having multiple Spider-Man monthlies, but I would support this.

They should replace Avenging with PPSM.
