I always thought there was potential for a Cthulu/Transformers story after reading some Lovecraft myself. In "At the Mountains of Madness" there's one single sentence that, as a child of the 80s, blew my mind. It's something to the effect of that the Elder Gods at one point experimented with mechanical life, but abandoned it as they found it boring.

The Quintessons from the Animated Movie and Season Three being lesser Old Ones would make sense. Can't wait for this.
As a non-Transformers fan (sadly, after GIJoe and He-Man had cleaned out our coffers, there was only enough $$ to afford Go-Gots), I find the idea of Transformers squaring off against Elder Gods to be very appealing.

This sounds good, but to correct your article, Infestation was about a zombie plague, not vampires.
