I'm not going to lie, these last two chapters caught me completely off guard. I did NOT see Vorg turning to match around like that. It only makes me more heartbroken about the Ref helping Mike. I mean, does no one else in the Audience REALLY care about this blatant cheating?

Mike probably could've downed vorg by now, the slow count on foreign soil, while completely unfair, isn't outrageous. He's a Russian challenger in america, he's got to beat the politics. And for those of you thinking about mikes rep, remember he only made this fight to catch the wolf off guard so he wouldnt have to fight vorg later down the line with equal prep time.

Though i really hope the ref didn't peel mike off the canvas. I doubt we will ever no for sure.

That's the thing: the slow count is kind of understandable, but he's clearly shown holding Vorg up, which is just a no-no.

disappointed the fight got dragged out that extra little bit-- but it was still a great fight... so I can let it go. David Eagle scored some major points for telling Mike to forfeit the match. I would like to think that if Mike had actually remembered everything that happened before he got knocked out that he would have conceeded defeat. I also like how pissed off Mike's corner was at what his manager arranged in the ring. I think when we see Mike again he'll probably have a different manager!

I didn't mind the extension. It made for a much more epic finishing duel between the two. And I kinda doubt that we'll be seeing Mike for quite some time unless somebody else of the known boxers in his weight-class takes him on.

Hopefully the coming matches will match this one in terms of quality.

Ippo's problem is he tends to fight dumb and his unwillingness to let go of the Japanese Title has had him fighting people way below the calibre required to keep him sharp.

Heck, remember that Magician guy? That guy was so full of shit and he gave Ippo a legitimately hard time.
