i hope he puts up enough of a fight to surprise itagaki and push past the fourth round

Well, I think that funeral for Saeki's dignity will have be to a closed casket affair.

    I see.

Team Itagaki's cunning plan to have him win is to have him develop super-boxing senses.

Yes. Yes. That is some real BS right there.

No chance in hell. I just hope that Itagaki stops with this fighting Ippo's old adversaries bullshit and gets a real challenge.

I'm still gunning for Saeki pulling through and getting the win.

It's a long shot but the guy is a fucking pro, he should be able to deal with Itagaki's truffle shuffle easily enough.

The truffle shuffle and 'not thinking' strategy Saeki can deal with I'm sure.

It's Itagaki's spontaneously developed super-boxing senses that are gonna screw him over.

    Still. There is hope.

If Saeki can pull it off, I think he'd earn the title of coolest outboxer in the series.

    Yeah, gonna agree.

I find myself kicking tons of ass with him in the PS2 game, especially when I got the Dragon Fish Blow. :)

Of the outboxers I like Volg the most. But Kimura is a very close second.

    Huh. Saeki's fucked.

They actually said that it'll come down to whoever has the greatest determination. And in a pinch, plot armour can make up for that.

    Also, Itagaki Shuffle.

That... is just wrong. Just plain wrong.

I kind of want Itagaki to lose this one.

That being said, this has been one of the best Ippo bouts in years. I'm highly impressed
