I wish they were doing more in the DCnU. I absolutely loved their run on Legion. I almost wish they'd take over for LoSH. As much as I enjoy Levitz on this book...it just seems like it needs a different voice.
There are four stages of matter. Solid. Liquid. Gas & Don't. It's science.
I am a male. Deal with it.
They're good writers. They'd def be good on either of the Legion books, both of which need a fresh breath of air in them.
Legion needs some fresh ideas. It's unbelievably stale right now.
I'm loving this book, and hope it lasts longer than the first volume.
Speaking of which, I already pre-ordered the first trade, but I have a feeling DC won't finish collecting it. I really wish they wouldn't even START collecting series' unless they're committed to finishing them.
*Looks at Doom Patrol, R.E.B.E.L.S., Suicide Squad v. 1...*
Have never read the first series but have always heard good things about it.
Reading the current series and liking it, but would really like to get to what's going on and why with Heaven and Hell.
Bad science, stale, stale superhero takes and change for change's sake.
Well, RESURRECTION MAN was about 30 issues long. If the 1st trade is over 6 issues (I think it is?) then they must be planning to do a full (and quick) collection series.
Just look at HITMAN. With the long awaited Vol. 5, they collected 12 issues or so of uncollected material. So much so, the next volume will complete the series. Yes - we waited years for them to resume reprinting the series, and they're gonna do it in 2 massive books.
I really enjoyed the latest Resurrection Man. One of the better "balls-out action" issues i've read. Didn't rely on too much splash page fluffery. I like where it is going.
