    Two things:

    1) Although John Jackson Miller does do a good job, Kiel and CBR should be promoting there own in-house Diamond Sales figure person, John Mayo.

    2) A Top 10 all all well and good, but how about some actual figures like Number of Downloads?

Notice that this top 10 chart is for sales over the last 4 months, and not sales from a month to month basis. This seems to me to indicate that digital isn't the savior of the comics industry as many people believe it to be.

Again glad to see doing well..BUT..why are people buying the same stuff that always performs for DC. i can't help but think that DC dropped the ball a little bit here by the fact that no matter where i look its all Superman and Batman kicking ass. Justice League That makes sense. But the line as a whole needs to be stronger in order to survive. That means that tittles like Blue Beetle, Mr. Terrifc, FireStorm, Captain Atom ect. ect. need to grow in reader ship. DC needs to put more effort into making things other than Batman relevant.

And i know people will poo poo all over that thought, but companies like DC and Marvel need to raise the profiles of these lesser characters. Sometimes it will work some times it won't but you can't rest of two or three franchises.

DC has raised the profile of Green Lantern & Flash but they will always be eclipsed by the first big 2 (Superman & Batman). Those 2 get the most publicity outside of comics (Warner Bros, Time Warner) which is out of DCE's hands.

Yeah. It's pretty obvious that DC could have done better drawing creators for the initial launch. I mean sure not every artist can be JHW3 or every writer Morrison, but some books definitely got the short end of the stick in favor of expediency.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

I agree that DC would be stronger if it was able to sell its B and C list characters better. However, DC's goal in the reboot was to attract new readers, and new readers are always going to go for the characters they know first. So Superman and Batman are always going to have a stronger pull than Blue Beetle or Firestorm, even if DC did a massive advertising push for the later.

The digital market is going to be interesting to watch for the New 52. As the prices come down after 30 days, it'll be interesting to see which titles start to pick up readers who weren't willing to pay full price on day and date. So far, it doesn't sound like there have been many surprises, but it would be nice to see some of the lesser-selling titles in the physical format get a bump in sales from the digital market.

Digital isn't the savior of the comics industry (i personally prefer paper), but I think over time, it can be an essential part of moving the industry forward, and I don't think 4 months reflects the effects digital can have. As we've seen with music and are currently seeing with books, digital is inevitable to an extent, and companies that are not leading the way will be left in the dust (Tower Records, Borders, etc).

    Not surprising numbers.

But 10% more sales his HUGE. That pushes every book considerably higher, does every book a service, should save a number of books from cancellation.

Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed that they listed the 10 best selling issues, rather than series. We all know that any given issue of JL will always outsell any issue of Voodoo... so a list with AC #1 and #2 and JL #1 and #2 and so forth, isn't very informative or interesting.

Well, I'm one of those readers that buys physical comics AND digital comics. My collectors mentality won't allow me to give up the paper books but I also love reading my books digitally.
