Default Anyone read Huntress #3? Is so, how was it?

I just couldn't make myself buy this issue - I want to care more about this incarnation of Helena, but while I think the first two issues weren't terrible, I haven't found Helena's characterization, the plot, or the villains particularly interesting.

Did it improve with #3? Was Levitz just finding his footing in the first two issues? Should I regret picking up Defenders #1 (which I also didn't find particularly interesting) instead? Should I return to the LCS?

Thanks, Arnaldo! I may still pick it up the next time I go, but I definitely won't make a special trip.

Enjoying it. Simple story but it's a good standard adventure for Huntress.

Might do better on the non-American market, as there are more strips like that, unencumbered by the standard US comics elements.

I'm in the its-middling camp. What happened in the first two issues should have happened in one, and the villain is boring. I can't even remember who the bad guy is. A rich Italian guy?

But I'll keep buying it because... I'm a comics fan.

If you liked issue 1 and 2 you'll like issue 3 imo

Love the character, the creative team, the story concept. To's art is amazing. The only downside is the slow pacing of the storyline.

I thought this issue was a bit if an improvement. It's the first time so far she actually seemed to be in danger.

I'm still wondering if this is really Helena Bertinelli, though. I know they've said she is in the interviews and solicitations, but they used images from the mini in the last page article that talked about Earth-2, and she still hasn't used her last name in the mini. And now there's that bit about being a cat person...

She sure hasn't acted like Helena WAYNE.

I've read it is Helena Wayne, but I'm not certain that has been confirmed. It could be in continuity for both Wayne and Bertinelli. Stranger things have happened.
I would like to say for the record that this is the FIRST TIME I've withheld dong when someone was so desperately asking for some.

I really want to like this because Huntress is my favourite Gotham lady, but it is so damn pedestrian.
What we need more of is science.
