Anyone know what's going on with the "G.I. JOE: The Complete Collection Volume 1"? I keep getting emails from Amazon on about a weekly basis saying its release date is being pushed back. This is all old material, so it's not being pushed back due to waiting on the writer/artist/content. Ideas? I REALLY want this book!!

For a $30 cover price, we get 11 issues and extras, in a mega oversized but still manageable hardcover, with sewn binding, a bookmark ribbon, and fantastic paperstock. What's not to like??
Completely agree with that. Hopefully when it continues on into Season 9 they'll do the same with Angel and Faith.

Also, on the subject of Dark Horse's Omnibus/Library Editions, does anybody know what size the Fear Agent Vol. 1 Omnibus is going to be? I have it preordered, but I won't be so sure about buying it if it's only a normal sized book like the BPRD hardcovers.

Huh, they seem to be a little too limited for my taste. Why make them so exclusive? Except to jack up the price because of the color of a label of course. Too bad, I'd have been interested in more deluxe editions, but not if I have to race to be one of 75 people willing to overspend on something that should have an MSRP of about $60

I finally got around to buying and reading Asterios Polyp. Really regretting not buying it earlier. It is a beautiful book, and one of the best comic reading experiences I have had.

I thought the same thing when I read about this. These are too exclusive. It's cool if you get one, but it makes me even want to try for them.

Yeah it's too bad. If they weren't designed to sell out to speculators at an inflated price I'd be interested in a lot of IDW comics in this format.

Not a hardcover, but Amazon has reduced the price of the Freakangels Slipcased Box Set from $100 to $58, if anyone's interested.

Hey guys! Can you show some pictures of your collections of non-big-two hardcovers? Thanks!

I saw that Trilogy in LCS the next city over. It's about 100 dollars US.
I have two of the three stories and don't even miss the third.
