Oh yeah, this flew under people's radar but is anyone going to get Black Fire by Hernan Rodriguez? I really enjoyed his take on HP Lovecraft and his art beautifully matched the stories.

Also, next year, Marana's vol 2 collection, Pope's One Trick, Pratt's Corto, Kirby's Spirit World, Alice's Siegfried, Soglow's Little King and a whole list of others are getting released and I just can't wait! It's going to be a great 2012.

Im saving up amazon gift cards I get from doing surveys to get Before the Incal and Im wondering if its worth it. Metabarons cleaned me out and while I love that book, Im not so sure I would be willing to spend a lot on before the incal when I could use the gift cards on other comics.

Just finished reading American Flagg! deluxe edition last night, really cool stuff I'm a fan of Chaykin's art. Other then that need to pick up some new EC Archives (which has started to see publishing again under a new company) and a few volumes of Creepy.

Since people in the Marvel Omnibus discussion thread seem unaware that this thread (and perhaps this forum exist), I thought this thread could use a bump.

Has anyone here picked up the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Collection Volume 1? $32ish sounds like a lot for just 7 issues, even if it has 300 pages of "extras." But at the same time I'm afraid this book is going to go OOP and skyrocket even higher in price.

Perhaps the price is worth it due to the sheer oversized dimensions? (Nearly 12 x 8.5 inches).

Despite the snark in your post, I do agree that this thread could use a bump.

I have it. Its amazing but there is some slight gutter loss. Its still very much worth getting though.

Gutter loss on a book that big and expensive? Urgh....

What kind of binding is it? Glued?
