its sooo much better - he looked like a trainspotter before. i did notice he was aged a bit in the last issue and he has powers now - which i have to admit im not sure about, i thought he just had a gun.

Aged?, he looked WAY younger than in the previous volume.

Anyway, I'm loving what Manapul/Buccellato are doing and I hope that they will give a good explanation about why The Rogues have powers now.

Potentially dumb question here, I thought that Mr Freeze was a Batman villain as in Victor Fries? - Are we talking a different character here or did he start out as a Flash antagonist?

Much better than an old man in a parka. New 52 Flash has the best art of all the titles, looking forward to this.

There is Mr Freeze who is primarily a Batman Villain, Captain Cold who is primarily a Flash villain , Icicle 2 who is the son of the original Icicle who fought the JSA and Killer Frost who was a Firestorm villain.

We're talking about Captain Cold. Freeze and Cold are just two of a handful of ice-themed characters from DC.

I like how they don't throw away the past with the guns (Ice, fire, mirror, weather wand). It seems that they wanted a power boost to take on the Flash and this is the result. Cold now literally has ice in his veins. Doesn't need the parka to protect himself from the cold. Hope those guys didn't make another deal with Neron. That didn't go well the first time.

I was under the impression that in this new DC Universe he's never had guns, and that while that history is still intact, we're to assume those old stories now took place with a Freeze with an internal power source rather than an external one.

So in a nutshell, the past with the Flash is still there, but the cold guns are not. This Cold always had superpowers. Am I wrong?
