Interesting. More interested in how the roster changes though

I'm thinking this is likely one of those inventory issues/arcs we heard about before, (since it says it's only for 2 issues) so I'm not entirely sure how well it will reflect on the current plot and the roster changes. I hope a new artist is on board, maybe Burnham, he was killing it on the covers, and I was sad to see his covers go un-used.

Well, I have'nt read Stormwatch #4 yet but after reading the first three issues, I'm not sure if Jenkins can do worse than Cornell.

I am quite sure of that, myself.

#4 is good. I originally dropped it from my pull list, but I put it back on when I saw the previews wanted to give it another chance. It actually was better than I expected.

I'm buying this book for Martian Manhunter, but he's barely in it. I think this might be the news I need to just straight-up drop the title.

I'm pretty sure he's the artist on Batman: Leviathan
    (the sequel to Batman Inc.)

I rather enjoy Miguel Sepulveda, his art has gotten a lot better since the first issue (at least the coloring has).

They replaced the initial colorist after the first issue, so yeah the coloring has gotten better. However, that has no impact on Miguel's skill, which I find severely lacking. The art for me has the occasional cool page in the midst of crappy ones, filled with lousy anatomy and poor visual storytelling. the occasional good page doesn't make up for the rest.

Anyway, yes, Burnham is doing Leviathan, but in an interview with Morrison, it was revealed he was working WAY ahead of schedule on it, and was already half done like 2 months ago.

In other news, Cornell just confirmed on Twitter that he's off Stormwatch for good. Dunno if Jenkins is the full time replacement or what, though.

Not a fan of most of Jenkin's work.. But don't know whether he's just not my cup of tea or if some of the stories he's been responsible for over at Marvel (looking at you Return Of Capt. Marvel) were just a matter of doing his best to make a silk purse out of the sows ear Quesada gave him...

that was the Leviathan Strikes one shot (Batman inc 9 and 10) but he's still working on Leviathan, regardless

anyways, Cornell just tweeted that he's not coming back.

Just read that on Twitter. Wow. There are a lot of changes after the first arc. Giffen had mentioned that there would be turnover but I didn't expect it like this.

Really?. Cool, maybe now Cornell can focus on a book where he could have a good handle like Shazam!.

Hm... I was holding on to Stormwatch because I know Cornell can do much better than what I saw in the first 3 issues, kinda waiting for him to get his groove back.

They will have to announce someone way better than Jenkins to keep me buying.
