Is it possible Simonson will take over the writing?
Hahaha. No. This is Marvel.
I'd just like everyone to know that not only am I dropping Marvel, I'm dropping this forum considering I'm not even allowed to voice a negative opinion because a thread "isn't about me".

Or at least somebody who does short arcs. Or more single issues. Why every single adventure must come in a six issue pack like beers? You can make a trade with two stories of 3 issue and you can also make a trade with 4 issue stories. You don't have to go for 6 every single freaking time.
I guess that's what bothers me about Bendis writing the most. I would read his titles more frequently if I didn't know I would get only 1/6 of a story each time.
As for team members, I see Luke Cage and Jessica Jones sticking around a lot.
Actually a wrote that part before I added Aaron's name. The sentence before had only Fraction, Hickman and Loeb. I will admit though, that none of them inspire as much confidence in me as Waid. Loeb is pure mindless popcorn writing, which can be fun for a couple of issues, but getts pretty old very quick. Liked Fraction's Order, dropped his Iron Man and his X-Men because I felt it was too slow, his style reminds me too much of Bendis, though, with that whole "independent" way of doing things. I like the mainstream style of writing. Admit that I haven't read enough of Hickman and Aaron to form a solid opinion about their writing. None of them has landed on titles I really enjoy. Never was FF's biggest fan and Aaron writes a lot of stuff with Wolverine in, which I tend to avoid like the plague. Hope that clarifies things a bit.
Peace
Don't know what direction they'll go in at the moment it could be that Phoenix changes stuff by itself or they change naturally.
I'd like Janet to come back though I think it's been long enough personally.
As for writers I think Waid, Aaron, Brubaker, Parker, Gage or Hickman would be good options.
I'd put Dan Slott in there but I can't see him leaving ASM at the moment. Unless he gets to do both.
My prediction as far as New Avengers goes is yes I'd think it'll survive at least temporarily after Bendis
Also no more talking heads scenes lol that ruined any chance of Bendis doing a decent Fear Itself story in my opinion.
Also as for Songbird joining the lineup I'd have no problem if she did whether or not the person who replaces Bendis will put her in the team is another question. Also Songbird/Diamondback if Songbird did join the Avengers who'd you have replace her in the Thunderbolts? Just out of curiousity lol
Just a few thoughts lol
Joe Kelly, Fabian Nicieza or Kurt Busiek would get me reading again.
As long as they keep New Avengers around with Spider-man, Wolverine and Cage in it I don't really care what they do with the rest of the Avengers line.
Nicieza is someone I've always wanted to have a longer run at Avengers, but I don't think he's enough of a "name" nowadays to do it, plus he seems to have a huge workload outside of comics. Joe Kelly is one of the names I threw around here myself, and, at the very least, I think he'd have a very interesting take on the team.
Peace
Horrifying thought: Daniel Way on Avengers.

They "kinda" wrote the Avengers for 23 issues. It was called Force Works.
With that said, I'd like to see them tackle Avengers proper. Doubt its very likely.

Also they were different back then, they greatly improved on Legion and the rest of their subsequent work.
