I would also love to see icons stay where they should put wolverine and thing back where they belong.
Agree with alot of what you said; I would love to see a West Coast title relaunched with the NA team, minus Luke Cage and his entourage and Wolverine who, if they have to stay on the Avengers in some capacity, would work better in SA I think. I have to say it's kind of ironic for me that Bendis has just announced he's leaving the franchise seeing as how this is probably the first time since he's been involved with the books that I actually like both of his team rosters(well, for the most part; still don't like Cage and Wolverine on any Avengers team and I'm not crazy about the Protector on the main title but otherwise I'm pretty much good with everybody else).

AvX is a maxiseries. Ultron War (and Drumm of Revenge, come to think of it) can happen concurrently in the Avengers title, the same way Marvel just did with Fear Itself, Spider-Island, The Children's Crusade and Schism.

    And, yeah, double shipping.

Default Name your Avengers writer after Bendis leaves in 2012

As we all know Bendis is leaving the Avengers in 2012. So whom do you want as the new writer. Im definitely leaning towards giving Mark Waid the job.

    shortlist:

    Geoff Johns

    Ed Brubaker

    Joe Casey

i would say Matt Fraction but i would like him to put the Defenders back on the map, first. similarly, Gage would be my choice if he weren't essential to the Avengers teen titles.

Sighphi. They need to keep stuff away from the Architects.

Hickman by far, he can write the cosmos-sweeping adventures that used to be the Avengers' bread and butter.

    Mark Waid
    Christopher Yost
    Christos Gage
    Dan Slott
Greg Pak & Fred Van Lente
    Kieron Gillen
    Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning
    Joe Casey
    Matt Fraction
    Jeff Parker
    Peter David
    Robert Kirkman

Yost or Waid are the ones I'm rooting for... they could both bring back "classic Avengers" while keeping it appealing to the ones who jumped on with Bendis.
I'd just like everyone to know that not only am I dropping Marvel, I'm dropping this forum considering I'm not even allowed to voice a negative opinion because a thread "isn't about me".

Yeah I think Gage is essential to Academy & I'm enjoying it too much to lose it.

If New Avengers is going to carry on then I'd like to see Rucka given a shot at it if he's interested.
