    Is it me or is DC having problems keeping creative teams together longer than a blink of an eye?

    is this issue having problems keeping the teams together in every situation or is the issue that bad decisions were made at first and are being rectified? in this situation i might think simone was not a good choice and so that is being corrected. could say the same about krul on green arrow.

    It could be worse.

    @satish

    I'm feels as if it may have been the latter. It seems they were still playing kind of loose with editorial decisions leading up to the relaunch, such as whether or not Superboy was starting from square one.

    I find it funny when there is a book co-written by a critically acclaimed, experienced writer and a guy who's essentially a cover artist people blame the lackluster result on the actual writer on the writing team.
    My blog.

    We struggled against apartheid in South Africa, supported by people the world over, because black people were being blamed and made to suffer for something we could do nothing about; our very skins. It is the same with sexual orientation. It is a given.

    Simone is a great choice, but the book doesn't seem to be hitting the mark. Too many cooks in the kitchen, in my opinion. It's a little too disjointed and not a great jumping on point for new readers. I haven't gotten Firestorm in years and gave this a chance. Wasn't to my liking. I agree with the4thpip, I wouldn't be blaming Gail.

    Well it's only lower-tier books that's getting changes in writers, which is fine by me because i think that's better then just canceling the book.

    I wouldn't call Superman or Green Arrow lower tier.

    Green Arrow was lower tier (unfortunately), but Superman definitely isn't.

    I'd call him mid-tier before the relaunch.

    Too bad Krul's last run was so much better than this run...Oh well, here's hoping Giffen/Jurgens and then Nocenti (and whoever they get for art duties ((please be David Aja))) the best of luck. Damn it, I wish they would just say who's on art with Ann already!!!!

    He's going over to Superman, where's doing the art, and co-writing, and he's also JLI...does he have the time to do both?

    Jurgens will be doing the breakdowns for Superman. I still believe that Jesus Merino will do the finishes. Right now Perez was doing breakdowns and Merino and Nicola Scott were doing the finishes. Jurgens will still be doing the art for Green Arrow but will have a fill-in for issue 6 I believe.
