I just got done reading it myself and I dont know what to think! shit was crazy. The art is beautiful as I knew it would be. I wish I had that two page spread in the beginning as a poster. Story was a little confusing at first, I didn't know wtf was really happening and what wasn't. Then I reread it again and I noticed you used two different color backrounds (black & white) Where white is what was going on, while black was what chuck was thinking/picturing. Made alot more sense that time and chucks images where the best/funny parts "this is a shotgun divorce, babe." Ha! One question I do have though is what roll does this antler man play? He is in a black panel which means Chuck was just picturing him but then he also is seen in a white panel. Is this antler man real? He has to have some significance. If you can't tell, I'm enjoying the book! Wanna jump into issue 2 asap! Good job on a great first issue.
This was pretty much my thoughts. After I read it the 1st time, I was beyond confused. Then I went through it a 2nd & 3rd time. Love it. Absolutely love it.

Last night, my daughter (10 yrs old) saw the cover, immediately backed up cause it freaked her out so bad. I kinda chuckled and then was grateful that she still has that innocence, compared to some of the monsters she goes to school with.

I had no idead that this series was coming out until today. I just randomly saw it in a comic book shop, flipped through it. I love the whole Resident Evil feel to it. I especially love the design of the elk skull zombie; I may make it my avatar.

I think Riley said the "elk skull zombie" is named Stagman.

I received issue #1 in the mail a few days ago and have read through the issue twice. I love how it bounces back and forth between reality and what is in his mind. I like how Chuck went over and over what catch phrase he wanted to use after bursting into the room. The art was haunting and after reading it before going to bed it definitely invaded my dreams. I'm interested to find out more about the stagman character.
Pull List: Ghostbusters, Saga, Invincible, Guarding the Globe, Cyber Force, Hellboy in Hell, Punk Rock Jesus and Happy

Enjoying the first two issues. The writing and story are very well done (very impressed). Riley has become maybe my favorite artist in the indusrty of current, the coloring is perfect. Also loved the preview for Debris #1 in Rebel Blood #2, patiently waiting for a new title from my favorite team of 2011(Green Wake). If Riley reads this talk to A.J. and please bring back CNV Ha. Still want a commision piece for CNV Riley hope your not getting to busy these days. Looking forward to the rest of this series. Highly reccomend.
    Good reading,
    Jd
